2 хвалою обличчя Його випере́джуймо, співаймо для Нього пісні́, |
|
3 бо Господь — Бог великий, і великий Він Цар над богами всіма́, |
|
4 що в Нього в руці глиби́ни землі, і Його верхогі́р'я гірські́, |
|
5 що море Його, і вчинив Він його, і руки Його суході́л уформува́ли! |
|
6 Прийдіть, поклоні́мося, і припаді́м, на коліна впаді́м перед Господом, що нас учинив! |
|
7 Він наш Бог, а ми люди Його пасови́ська й отара руки Його. Сьогодні, коли Його голос почуєте, |
|
8 „не робіте твердим серця вашого, мов при Мери́ві, немов на пустині в день спро́би, |
|
9 коли ваші батьки́ Мене брали на спро́бу, Мене випробо́вували, також бачили ді́ло Моє. |
|
10 Сорок літ був оги́дним мені оцей рід, й Я сказав: Цей наро́д — блудосерді вони, й не пізнали доріг Моїх, |
|
11 тому́ заприсягся Я в гніві Своїм, що до місця Мого відпочинку не вві́йдуть вони!“ |

|
1 O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongs, O God, to whom vengeance belongs, show thyself. |
|
2 Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth; render a reward to the proud. |
|
3 LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked boast? |
|
4 They shall utter and speak unjust things; they shall speak all kinds of evil things. |
|
5 For they have humbled thy people, O LORD, and subdued thine heritage. |
|
6 They slay the widow and the innocent, and murder the fatherless. |
|
7 Yet they say, The LORD does not see, neither does the God of Jacob regard it. |
|
8 Understand, you stupid among the people and you fools, when will you be wise? |
|
9 He who planted the ear, shall he not hear? He who formed the eye, shall he not see? |
|
10 He who chastises the nations, shall not he rebuke? He who teaches man knowledge, shall he not know? |
|
11 The LORD knows the thoughts of man; they are like a breath. |
