Псалом 37

1 Псалом Давидов. В воспоминание. [В субботу.]

2 Господи! не во гневе Твоем обличай меня, и не в ярости Твоей наказывай меня.

3 Ибо стрелы Твои вонзились в меня, и рука Твоя тяготеет на мне.

4 Нет здравого места в теле моем от гнева Твоего; нет мира в костях моих от греха моего.

5 Ибо беззакония мои покрыли голову мою, как тяжелое бремя, тяготят меня.

6 Смердят, гноятся струпы мои от безумия моего.

7 Я согбен и поник чрезмерно, весь день хожу мрачен;

8 Ибо внутренности мои наполнились огнем, и нет здравого места в теле моем.

9 Я изнемог и весьма расслаблен, рыкаю от терзания сердца моего.

10 Господи! пред Тобою все желания мои, и вздох мой не сокрыт от Тебя.

11 Сердце мое сильно бьется, оставила меня сила моя, и света очей моих, и того нет у меня.

12 Искренние мои и друзья мои, видя язву мою, отступили, вдали стоят ближние мои.

13 Ищущие души моей ставят сеть, и желающие мне зла говорят о погибели, и о коварствах помышляют всякий день.

14 А я, как глухой, не слышу, и как немой, который не открывает уст своих;

15 Я как человек, который не слышит, или не имеет в устах своих оправдания.

16 Ибо Тебя, Господи, я ожидаю, Ты ответствуй за меня, Господи Боже мой!

17 Ибо я сказал: да не радуются обо мне [враги мои], и да не величаются надо мною, когда поколеблется нога моя;

18 Ибо я готов пасть, и скорбь моя всегда со мною.

19 Я сознаю вину мою, сокрушаюсь о грехе моем.

20 Враги мои живы, сильны, и многочисленны ненавидящие меня безвинно.

21 Воздающие мне злом за добро враждуют на меня за то, что я следую добру.

22 Не оставь меня, Господи, Боже мой! не удались от меня.

23 Поспеши на помощь мне, Господи, Спаситель мой!

Psalm 37

1 FRET not because of evildoers, neither be envious of the workers of iniquity,

2 For they shall soon wither like grass, and fade away as the green herbs.

3 Trust in God, and do good; dwell in the land, and seek after faithfulness.

4 Trust in the LORD; and he shall give you the desires of your heart.

5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust also in him, and he shall bring it to pass.

6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your judgment as the noonday.

7 Seek the LORD, and pray before him; envy not the man who does evil, and prospers in his way.

8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; fret not yourself in any wise to do evil.

9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those who trust in the LORD shall inherit the earth.

10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall be no more: yea, you shall look for his place, and you shall not find it.

11 But the meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

12 The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth.

13 The LORD shall laugh at him; for he sees that his day is coming.

14 The wicked have drawn out the sword and have bent their bow, to slay the poor and needy, and those who are upright in their way.

15 Their swords shall enter into their own hearts, and their bows shall be broken.

16 A little that a righteous man has is better than the great riches of the wicked.

17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken; but the LORD upholds the righteous.

18 The LORD knows the days of the upright; and their inheritance shall be for ever.

19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time; and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

20 For the wicked shall perish, and the rich who are enemies of the LORD shall be consumed; they shall vanish like smoke.

21 The wicked borrows, and pays not again; but the righteous shows mercy, and gives.

22 For the blessed of the LORD shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be wiped out.

23 The steps of a good man are established by the LORD; he sets his course.

7 Я согбен и поник чрезмерно, весь день хожу мрачен;	7 Seek the LORD, and pray before him; envy not the man who does evil, and prospers in his way.

9 Я изнемог и весьма расслаблен, рыкаю от терзания сердца моего.	9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those who trust in the LORD shall inherit the earth.
10 Господи! пред Тобою все желания мои, и вздох мой не сокрыт от Тебя.	10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall be no more: yea, you shall look for his place, and you shall not find it.
11 Сердце мое сильно бьется, оставила меня сила моя, и света очей моих, и того нет у меня.	11 But the meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
