1 Начальнику хора. Не погуби. Псалом Асафов. Песнь.

2 Славим Тебя, Боже, славим; близко имя Твое. О Тебе возвещают чудеса Твои.

3 `Когда Я усмотрю время, произведу праведный суд.

4 Колеблется земля со всеми ее жителями: Я утверждаю столпы ее`. (Села.)

5 Говорю тщеславным: не тщеславьтесь, и беззаконным: не поднимайте рога.

6 Не поднимайте вверх рога вашего, [не] говорите жестоковыйно.

7 Ибо не от востока и не от запада и не от пустыни приходит возвышение:

8 Но Бог есть Судия, Он унижает и Он возвышает.

9 Ибо в руке Господа чаша, вино кипит, Он налил ее полную, и раздает из нее. Даже дрожжи ее поглотят, выпьют все беззаконные земли.

10 А я буду проповедывать вечно, буду петь Богу Иаковлеву.

11 `Все роги беззаконных сломлю; вознесутся роги праведника`.

3 Lift up7311 thy feet6471 unto the perpetual5331 desolations;4876 even all3605 that the enemy341 hath done wickedly7489 in the sanctuary.6944

4 Thine enemies6887 roar7580 in the midst7130 of thy congregations;4150 they set up7760 their ensigns226 for signs.226

5 A man was famous3045 according as he had lifted up935 4605 axes7134 upon the thick5442 trees.6086

6 But now6258 they break down1986 the carved work6603 thereof at once3162 with axes3781 and hammers.3597
