2 мені допомо́га від Господа, що вчинив небо й зе́млю! |

3 Він не дасть захита́тись нозі́ твоїй, не здріма́є твій Сто́рож: |
|
4 оце не дріма́є й не спить Сторож Ізра́їлів! |
|
5 Госпо́дь — то твій Сторож, Госпо́дь — твоя тінь при прави́ці твоїй, — |
|
6 удень сонце не вда́рить тебе, ані місяць вночі́! |
|
7 Господь стерегти́ме тебе від усякого зла, стерегти́ме Він душу твою, — |
|
8 Господь стерегти́ме твій ви́хід та вхід відтепе́р аж наві́ки! |

1 IN my distress I cried to the LORD, and he heard me. |
|
2 Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lips of the ungodly and from deceitful tongues. |
|
3 What shall be given to you? or what shall be added to you, you deceitful tongues? |
|
4 The arrows of the mighty are sharp; they are as hot coals of oak. |
|
5 Woe is me, that my sojourn is prolonged, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar! |
|
6 My soul has long dwelt with him that hates peace. |
|
7 I am for peace; but when I speak they fight with me. |
|

2 Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lips of the ungodly and from deceitful tongues. |
