1 Начальнику хора. О голубице безгласной во удалении. Писание Давида, когда Филистимляне захватили его в Гефе.

2 Помилуй меня, Боже, ибо человек хочет поглотить меня, враг всякий день теснит меня.

3 Неприятели мои всякий день ищут поглотить меня; ибо многие враждуют против меня надменно.

4 В день, когда я в страхе, на Тебя я надеюсь.

5 С Богом я хвалюсь словом Его; надеюсь на Бога, не боюсь; что сделает мне плоть?

6 Всякий день слова мои превращают, все предприятия их на зло мне;

7 Собираются, притаиваются, наблюдают за моими пятами; ибо ищут души моей.

8 При сем буйстве избавь от них, во гневе низложи народы, Боже.

9 У Тебя исчислено мое скитание, слезы мои хранятся в сосуде у Тебя, они в книге Твоей.

10 Враги мои отступают назад, тогда как я призываю Тебя; посему я знаю, что Бог со мною.

11 С Богом я хвалюсь словом Его, с Господом хвалюсь словом Его.

12 Надеюсь на Бога, не боюсь; что сделает мне человек?

13 На мне, Боже, обеты Тебе, я совершу Тебе славословие;

14 Ибо Ты избавил душу мою от смерти, ноги мои от преткновения, чтобы ходил я пред лицем Божиим, во свете живых.

3 Because of the voice6963 of the enemy,341 because6440 of the oppression6125 of the wicked:7563 for they cast4131 iniquity205 on me, and in wrath639 they hate7852 me.

4 My heart3820 is sore pained2342 within7130 me: and the terrors367 of death4194 are fallen5307 on me.

5 Fearfulness3374 and trembling7460 are come935 on me, and horror6427 has overwhelmed3680 me.

6 And I said,559 Oh that I had wings83 like a dove!3123 for then would I fly5774 away, and be at rest.7931
