Псалом 18

1 Начальнику хора. Псалом Давидов.

2 Небеса проповедуют славу Божию, и о делах рук Его вещает твердь.

3 День дню переливает слово, и ночь ночи открывает познание.

4 Нет языка, и нет наречия, на котором бы не был слышан голос их.

5 Звук их проходит по всей земле, и слова их до предела вселенной. Солнцу поставил Он в них жилище;

6 И оно выходит, как жених из брачного чертога своего, как исполин, веселясь, пробегает путь.

7 На краю неба восход его, и шествие его до краев его; и никто не сокрыт от теплоты его.

8 Закон Господень совершен, отрада для души. Свидетельство Господне верно, умудряет простого.

9 Повеления Господни праведны, веселят сердце. Заповедь Господня светла, просвещает очи.

10 Страх Господень чист, пребывает вовек. Суды Господни истинны, праведны все совокупно.

11 Они вожделеннее золота и множества дорогих камней, слаще меда, текущего из сота.

12 И раб Твой просветился ими; велика награда за соблюдение их.

13 Кто знает все свои погрешности? И от тайных очисти меня;

14 И от произвольных грехов удержи раба Твоего, чтобы они не обладали мною. Тогда я буду совершен и чист от великого преступления.

15 Да будут слова уст моих благоугодны Тебе, и помышление сердца моего пред лицем Твоим, Господи, крепость моя и Искупитель Мой!

Psalm 18

1 I WILL love thee, O LORD, my strength and my trust;

2 My refuge and my deliverer is the mighty God in whom I trust; he is my helper and the horn of my salvation and my glorious refuge.

3 I will call upon the LORD; so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

4 For the pains of death surrounded me, and the rush of ungodly men have confused me.

5 The travail of Sheol has taken hold of me: the snares of death preceded me.

6 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God; he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

7 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the mountains quaked and were shaken because he was angry.

8 There went up a smoke out of his wrath, and fire flamed from his face, and coals were kindled by it.

9 He bowed the heavens and came down; and thick darkness was under his feet.

10 And he rode upon cherubim and flew; yea, he soared upon the wings of the wind.

11 He made darkness his covert; his pavilion round about him was darkness of waters and thick clouds of the skies.

12 Out of the brightness of his shadow his clouds rained hailstones and coals of fire.

13 The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice: hailstones and coals of fire.

14 Yea, he sent out his arrows and scattered them; and he multiplied his lightnings and confused them.

15 Then the brooks appeared, and the foundations of the world were laid open at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thine anger.

11 Они вожделеннее золота и множества дорогих камней, слаще меда, текущего из сота.	11 He made darkness his covert; his pavilion round about him was darkness of waters and thick clouds of the skies.
12 И раб Твой просветился ими; велика награда за соблюдение их.	12 Out of the brightness of his shadow his clouds rained hailstones and coals of fire.

14 И от произвольных грехов удержи раба Твоего, чтобы они не обладали мною. Тогда я буду совершен и чист от великого преступления.	14 Yea, he sent out his arrows and scattered them; and he multiplied his lightnings and confused them.
15 Да будут слова уст моих благоугодны Тебе, и помышление сердца моего пред лицем Твоим, Господи, крепость моя и Искупитель Мой!	15 Then the brooks appeared, and the foundations of the world were laid open at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thine anger.
