Псалом 71

1 О Соломоне. [Псалом Давидов.] Боже! дай Царю суд Твой, и правду Твою сыну цареву:

2 Он будет судить народ Твой праведно и угнетенных Твоих правосудно.

3 Произрастят народу мир горы, и холмы в правде.

4 Он будет судить угнетенных в народе, спасет сынов нищего, и низложит притеснителя.

5 Будут благоговеть пред Тобою, доколе светит солнце, и доколе смотрит луна, в роды родов.

6 Он сойдет, как дождь на скошенный луг, как капли, орошающие землю.

7 Процветет во дни его праведник, и повсюду мир, пока будет луна.

8 Он будет владычествовать от моря до моря, и от реки до пределов земли.

9 Падут пред ним дикие, и враги его полижут прах.

10 Цари Фарсиса и жители островов принесут дары, цари Шавы и Савы представлять дань.

11 Поклонятся ему все цари, все народы будут покорны ему.

12 Ибо он избавит вопиющего бедного и угнетенного беспомощного.

13 Будет миловать нищего и бедного, и спасет души убогих.

14 Искупит души их от коварства и насилия, и драгоценна будет кровь их пред очами его.

15 Они будут благоденствовать, и принесут ему золото из Шавы; и всегда будут молиться за него, и всякий день благословлять его.

16 Будет обилие пшеницы на земле; на верху гор колебаться будут ее колосья, как Ливанский лес, и в городах цвести будут люди, как трава на земле.

17 Имя его будет [благословенно] во век; пред солнцем расти будет имя его. Благословятся в нем [все племена земные], все народы будут ублажать его.

18 Благословен Господь Бог, Бог Израилев, Который творит чудеса Един!

19 И благословенно славное имя Его во век, славою Его наполнится вся земля. Аминь и аминь.

20 Кончились молитвы Давида, сына Иесеева.

Psalm 71

1 IN thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be confounded.

2 Deliver me in thy righteousness and rescue me; incline thine ear to me and save me.

3 Be thou to me a sheltering rock whereunto I may continually resort; give thou commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.

4 Deliver me, O God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.

5 For thou art my hope, O LORD; thou art my trust from my youth, O God.

6 By thee have I been sustained from the womb; thou art my hope since I was in my mother's body; my praise is continually of thee.

7 I am as a wonder to many; but thou art my strong refuge.

8 Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honor all the day.

9 Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength fails.

10 For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lie in wait for my soul take counsel together,

11 Saying, God has forsaken him; pursue and take him; for there is none to deliver him.

12 O God, be not far from me; O my God, make haste for my help.

13 Let them be ashamed and embarrassed who envy my soul: let them be covered with shame that seek my hurt.

14 But I will pray continually, and will praise thee yet more and more.

15 My mouth shall show forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day, for I cannot read.

16 I will go in the strength of the LORD; I will make mention of thy righteousness even of thine only.

17 O God, thou hast taught me from my youth, so that I might declare thy wondrous works.

18 Now also to old age and gray hairs, O God, forsake me not; until I have shown thy strength and thy might to the generation that is to come.

19 Thy righteousness also, O God, has reached to the highest; thou hast done great things; O God, who is like unto thee!

20 Thou who hast shown me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
