1 [Аллилуйя.] Я веровал, когда говорил: горько я стражду.

2 Я сказал в смятении моем: всякий человек обманчив.

3 Что воздам Господу за все благодеяния Его ко мне?

4 Возьму чашу спасения и призову имя Господне.

5 Совершу обеты мои Господу пред всем народом Его.

6 Дорога в очах Господних смерть святых Его.

7 О Господи! я раб Твой, я раб Твой, сын рабы Твоей; Ты разрешил меня от оков моих.

8 Жертву славословия принесу Тебе, и имя Господне призову.

9 Обеты мои Господу совершу пред всем народом Его,

10 Во дворе дома Господня, среди тебя, Иерусалим. Аллилуйя!

1 NOT unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory for thy mercy and for thy truth's sake.

2 Wherefore the Gentiles have no cause to say, Where is now their God?

3 But our God is in the heavens; he has done whatever he pleased.

4 The idols of the Gentiles are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

5 They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;

6 They have ears, but they hear not; noses have they, but they smell not;

7 They have hands, but they feel not; feet have they, but they walk not; neither speak they through their throats.

8 Let them that make them become like them; and every one that trusts in them.

9 The house of Israel trusts in the LORD; he is their help and their shield.

10 The house of Aaron trusts in the LORD; he is their help and their shield.
