Псалом 111

1 Аллилуйя. [Аггея и Захарии]. Блажен муж боящийся Господа, крепко прилепившийся к заповедям Его.

2 Сильно будет семя его на земле, род праведников благословится.

3 Обилие и богатство в доме его, и правда его пребывает вечно.

4 Во тьме восходит свет праведникам от благого и милосердного и праведного.

5 Благо тому человеку, который милует и взаймы дает! Он даст твердость словам своим на суде.

6 Ибо он вечно не поколеблется, вечно в памяти будет праведник.

7 Не боится злого слуха; сердце его твердо, надеется на Господа.

8 Утверждено сердце его, не убоится, и увидит падение врагов своих.

9 Сыплет, раздает нищим; правда его пребывает вечно, рог его возносится во славе.

10 Нечестивый видит и досадует, скрежещет зубами своими, и истаевает. Желание нечестивых погибнет.

Psalm 111

1 PRAISE the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

2 The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

3 His works are great and glorious, and his righteousness endures for ever.

4 He has made his wonderful works to be remembered; the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.

5 He has given food to them that revere him; he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

6 He has shown his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the Gentiles.

7 The works of his hands are truth and justice, and they endure for ever and ever.

8 All his commandments are sure, and are done in righteousness and truth.

9 He has sent salvation to his people; his covenant shall be remembered for ever; holy and revered is his name.

10 The reverence of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all they that do his commandments; his praise endures for ever.
