Псалом 53

1 Руководителю хора Для исполнения в сопровождении струнных инструментов Стих Давида

2 (когда пришли зифеи и сказали Саулу: «Разве ты не знаешь, что Давид скрывается у нас?»)

3 Боже, силой имени Своего спаси меня, могуществом Твоим правоту мою защити!

4 Боже, услышь молитву мою, внемли словам уст моих!

5 Чуждые Завету Твоему восстали на меня, жестокие, о Боге не думающие, посягают на жизнь мою.

6 Но Бог грядет мне на помощь, Господь — вот кто меня поддерживает.

7 Зло врагов моих на их же голову пусть падет, верность Свою яви, Боже, и уничтожь их.

8 Охотно я жертву Тебе принесу, прославлю имя Твое, ГОСПОДИ, ибо Ты добр ко мне.

9 От всех бед Ты избавил меня, и я могу с торжеством смотреть на врагов своих.

Psalm 53

1 THE fool has said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and abominable in their iniquities; and there is none that does good.

2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

3 Every one of them has gone astray; they are altogether become filthy; there is none that does good, no, not one.

4 These people no longer recognize evil; they have consumed my people like bread; they have no respect for God.

5 There they feared where no fear was; for God has scattered the bones of hypocrites; they have been ashamed, because God has despised them.

6 Who out of Zion will give salvation to Israel? When God brings back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice and Israel shall be glad.
