Псалом 33

1 Псалом Давида (когда он представился умалишенным перед Авимелехом, и тот выгнал его, и Давид пошел прочь)

2 буду славить ГОСПОДА во всякое время, хвала Ему всегда на устах моих.

3 ГОСПОДОМ хвалиться буду, да услышат страдающие и возрадуются.

4 Возвещайте со мною величие ГОСПОДА, восславим же вместе имя Его!

5 Искал я помощи у ГОСПОДА, и Он ответил мне, от всех страхов моих избавил меня.

6 Кто с верой взирал на Него, радостью тот сиял, — не придется таким испытывать горечь стыда.

7 Воззвал и сей нищий к Господу, и ГОСПОДЬ услышал и от всех бед избавил его.

8 Ангел ГОСПОДЕНЬ на страже вокруг тех, кто Бога чтит, — спасает он их.

9 Вкусите радость жизни с ГОСПОДОМ, узнайте, как Он благ. Блажен человек, нашедший прибежище в Нем.

10 Благоговейте пред ГОСПОДОМ, верные слуги Его, у благоговеющих перед Ним есть всё необходимое.

11 И молодым львам приходится бедствовать и голодать, ищущие же ГОСПОДА не терпят нужды ни в каком благе.

12 Придите, сыновья, меня послушайте, я благоговению перед ГОСПОДОМ вас научу.

13 Кто из вас хочет жить, кто счастливой и долгой жизни желает,

14 береги тот язык свой от зла и уста свои от речей лживых.

15 Уклоняйся от зла и делай добро, ищи мира и стремись к нему.

16 Не отводит ГОСПОДЬ очей Своих от праведных, уши Его открыты к их воплю о помощи.

17 Но ГОСПОДЬ всегда против делающих зло, чтобы и всякую память о них стереть с лица земли.

18 Взывают праведные, и ГОСПОДЬ слышит: от всех бед спасает их.

19 Близок ГОСПОДЬ к тем, чье сердце разбито, спасает Он всех, чей дух сокрушен.

20 Многие невзгоды на праведника обрушиться могут — от всех избавит его ГОСПОДЬ.

21 Даже все кости его сохранит: ни одна из них сломлена не будет.

22 Злоба нечестивых убьет их самих, наказание понесут ненавидящие праведника.

23 ГОСПОДЬ искупит жизнь Своих слуг, избегут осуждения те, кто прибежище в Нем находит.

Psalm 33

1 REJOICE in the LORD, O you righteous; for praise is comely for the upright.

2 Praise the LORD with harp and guitar; sing praises to him with a harp of ten strings.

3 Sing to him a new song; play skilfully with a beautiful rhythm.

4 For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.

5 He loves righteousness and judgment; the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.

6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

7 The waters of the sea gathers he together as in a heap of waterskins; he lays up the depths in storehouses.

8 Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

9 For he spoke, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

10 The LORD brings the counsel of the Gentiles to nought; the LORD makes the devices of the people of no effect.

11 The counsel of the LORD stands for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.

13 The LORD looks from heaven; he beholds all the sons of men.

14 From his throne he looks upon all the inhabitants of the earth.

15 He fashions their hearts alike; he considers all their works.

16 The king is not saved by the multitude of a host; neither a mighty man delivers by much strength.

17 A horse is a false thing for salvation; neither shall he deliver his rider by his great strength.

18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon the righteous, upon them that hope in his mercy

19 To deliver their soul from death and to keep them alive in famine.

20 Our soul waits for the LORD; he is our help and our shield.

21 For our hearts shall rejoice in him because we have trusted in his holy name.

22 Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
