Псалом 97

1 Псалом Пойте ГОСПОДУ песнь новую, ибо Он сотворил чудеса — сильная рука Его, рука Его святая доставила Ему победу.

2 Всё сделал ГОСПОДЬ, чтобы знали о силе Его спасительной, явил пред глазами народов справедливость Свою.

3 Не забыл Он о любви Своей к дому Израиля и о верности Своей ему. Все концы земли увидели спасительную силу Бога нашего.

4 Весь мир, приветствуй ГОСПОДА, радуйся, ликуй и хвалу Ему пой!

5 Играйте ГОСПОДУ на лире, играйте на лире и пойте!

6 Звуками труб и рога приветствуйте ГОСПОДА, Царя нашего!

7 Пусть шумит и море, и всё, что наполняет его, мир и живущие в нем.

8 Пусть рукоплещут реки, и горы пусть ликуют вместе с ними

9 при приближении ГОСПОДА, ибо грядет Он судить землю. Он будет судить мир по справедливости и народы — в Своей беспристрастности.

Psalm 97

1 THE LORD reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

2 Clouds and darkness are round about him; righteousness and judgment are the foundation of his throne.

3 Fire goes before him, and burns up his enemies round about.

4 His lightnings enlightened the world; the earth saw, and trembled.

5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the LORD of the whole earth.

6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

7 Confounded are all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols; worship him, all his angels.

8 Zion heard and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.

9 For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth; thou art exalted far above all gods.
