Псалом 149

1 Аллилуйя! Пойте ГОСПОДУ новую песнь, хвалу Ему пойте в собрании слуг Его верных!

2 Пусть возрадуется Израиль Создателю своему и восторгаются сыны Сиона Царем своим!

3 Пусть водят они хороводы во славу имени Его и поют Ему, играя на тимпанах и лирах!

4 Ибо ГОСПОДЬ благоволит к народу Своему, венчает смиренных спасеньем.

5 И верные слуги Его пусть ликуют в своем торжестве, пусть даже на ложах своих восклицают!

6 Да славят Господа они во всю силу голоса своего, и меч обоюдоострый да будет в руках их,

7 чтобы воздать должное племенам, наказать народы,

8 заковать царей их в цепи и вельмож их — в кандалы железные,

9 дабы совершить над ними суд, как о том давно уже написано, — это честь для всех верных слуг Его. Аллилуйя!

1 PRAISE the LORD. Sing to the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him; let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

3 Let them praise his name with the timbrel and psaltery; let them sing praises to him with the harps.

4 For the LORD takes pleasure in his people; he has given salvation to the poor.

5 Let the righteous become mighty in glory; let them glorify him upon their beds.

6 Let them exalt God with their throats, and with a two-edged sword in their hand,

7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the peoples,

8 To bind their kings with fetters and their nobles with chains of iron.

9 To execute upon them the judgment that is written; and give glory to all his saints. Praise the LORD.
