Псалом 89

1 Молитва Моисея, человека Божьего Господи, Ты — нам прибежище из рода в род.

2 Прежде чем родились горы или земле и миру положил Ты начало, из века в век Ты — Бог.

3 Смертных Ты в прах обращаешь, сказав лишь: «В тленье возвращайтесь, дети Адама!»

4 Тысяча лет для Тебя как минувший день вчерашний, как время стражи ночной для спящего.

5 Людей из жизни, как наводненьем, Ты уносишь, они как сон, как трава, что утром вырастает;

6 днем она еще росла, цвела, а к вечеру поникла и завяла.

7 Гневаешься Ты на нас — конец нам приходит, негодуешь — мы в полном смятении.

8 Ты положил перед Собой все грехи наши, и прегрешения наши тайные — во свете присутствия Твоего.

9 Во все дни наши Ты гневаешься на нас; как вздох мгновенный исчезают наши годы.

10 Время жизни нашей — лет семьдесят, восемьдесят — для тех, кто сильнее. И всё, из чего эти годы слагаются, — труды тяжкие и суета; быстро уходят они, и мы исчезаем.

11 Кому под стать измерить силу гнева Твоего? Сколь велик страх пред Тобою, столь велика ярость Твоя.

12 Научи нас, как нам считать свои дни, чтобы обрести мудрость.

13 Доколе же, ГОСПОДИ? Вернись к нам, сжалься над слугами Своими!

14 Дай нам с утра уже насыщаться любовью Твоей неизменной, чтоб радоваться и ликовать нам во все наши дни.

15 Радостью одаряй нас столько же дней, сколько Ты смирял нас, столько же лет, сколько мы бедствия терпели.

16 Пусть дело Твое спасительное увидят слуги Твои и величие Твое — их сыновья.

17 Милость Господа, Бога нашего, да пребудет с нами, чтобы успешными были усилия наши! О благослови усилия наши!
