Псалом 97

1 Новую песню Господу пойте, так как прекрасны свершения Его. Снова святая Его правая рука победу Ему принесла.

2 Свою спасительную силу и доброту Свою Господь народам показал.

3 Его последователи помнят милость к народу Израиля. Все люди видели, как Господь спасает силою Своей.

4 Пусть Богу каждый в радости воскликнет и песнь хвалебную споёт.

5 Играй на арфе Господу, восславь Его звучанием арфы.

6 Труби и в трубы, и в рога, ликуй от радости пред Господом, нашим Царём!

7 Пусть море и всё, что в нём, и вся земля, и всё, что на земле, взывают к Господу своею похвалой.

8 Пусть рукоплещут реки, пусть горы запоют.

9 Пусть всё поёт пред Господом, Он ступает на землю, чтобы судить справедливо во всей доброте Своей.

Psalm 97

1 THE LORD reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

2 Clouds and darkness are round about him; righteousness and judgment are the foundation of his throne.

3 Fire goes before him, and burns up his enemies round about.

4 His lightnings enlightened the world; the earth saw, and trembled.

5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the LORD of the whole earth.

6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

7 Confounded are all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols; worship him, all his angels.

8 Zion heard and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.

9 For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth; thou art exalted far above all gods.
