1 Дирижёру хора. На мелодию «Не сокруши». Хвалебная песнь Асафа.

2 Господи, славим Тебя! Ты уже близок, и люди рассказ ведут о славных делах Твоих.

3 Говоришь Ты: «Я выбрал время для справедливого суда.

4 Земля и все люди содрогнутся, но только Я столпы земные укреплю». Селах

5 Говорю я тем, кто гордыни полон, живущим в надежде на силу свою и важность: «Не хвалитесь больше, не думайте, что именно вам принадлежит победа».

7 Нет силы на земле, способной повлиять на то, что в будущем произойдёт.

8 Кого унизить, кого возвысить — это Господь решает.

9 В руках Божьих чаша, полная ядовитого вина Его гнева. И зло творящие эту чашу выпьют до последней капли.

10 Никогда не перестану я о величии Господнем говорить. Вечно буду Бога Иакова восхвалять.

11 Бог говорит: «Зло творящих лишу Я власти и праведным передам её».
