Chapter 62

1 FOR Zion's sake I will not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest until her righteousness shall go forth as light and her salvation as a lamp that burns.

2 And the Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; and you shall be called by a new name which the mouth of the LORD shall bestow upon you.

3 You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.

4 You shall no more be called Forsaken; neither shall your land any more be termed Desolate; but you shall be called My Delight, and your land shall be cultivated; for the Lord delights in you, and your land shall have husbandmen.

5 For as a young man husbands a virgin, so shall your sons husband you; and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.

6 I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem, every day, who shall not hold their peace day or night continually; so that those who make mention of the LORD may not keep silence, nor be still,

7 And give you no rest, until I, the Lord, establish you and until I make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

8 The LORD has sworn by his right hand and by his strong arm, I will no more give your grain to be food for your enemies; neither shall the sons of strangers drink your wine for which you have labored;

9 But those who have gathered it shall eat it and praise the LORD; and those who have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.

10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare the way of the people; make the highway smooth, gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

11 Behold, the LORD has proclaimed to the ends of the earth, Say to the daughter of Zion, Behold, your Saviour comes; behold, his reward is with him and his work before him.

12 And they shall call them The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD; and you shall be called, Avenged, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

Глава 62

1 Люблю Сион и говорить о нём не прекращу, люблю Иерусалим и речь о нём продолжу до тех пор, пока праведность и спасение не засияют пламенным огнём.

2 И все народы смогут правду твою увидеть, все цари увидят твою славу, и новым именем тебя все назовут,

3 Господь тобой гордиться будет, ты станешь короной драгоценной в руке Господней.

4 Уже никто тебя не назовёт «народом, оставленным Богом», не назовут твою землю «уничтоженной Богом». «Народ, возлюбленный Богом», так называть тебя будут, землю твою станут «невестой Бога» звать. Ведь Господь тебя любит, и земля твоя будет Ему принадлежать.

5 Если юноша женится на девушке, то она ему принадлежит, так и эта земля будет детям твоим принадлежать. И как жених радуется жене своей, так и Бог будет рад тебе.

6 «На стенах твоих, Иерусалим, Я поставлю своих сторожей, они и днём, и ночью будут молиться». Не умолкайте, стражники, молитесь и напоминайте Господу о Его обещаньях!

7 Молитесь Господу до тех пор, пока Он не восстановит Иерусалим и не заставит все народы его восхвалять.

8 Господь дал обещание и силой Своею доказал, что сдержит клятву. Господь сказал: «Я обещаю, что отныне никогда не дам врагам ваш хлеб, что больше никогда враги не отберут у вас вино.

9 Кто собирает хлеб, тот будет есть его и будет Господа хвалить, кто собирает виноград, тот будет пить вино во дворе храма Моего».

10 Пройдите через ворота! Освободите путь народу, берите камни с дороги, поднимите знамя для народов!

11 Слушайте! Всем дальним землям говорит Господь: «Скажите народу Сиона, что идёт их Спаситель и несёт им награду с Собой.

12 Народ Его назовут „святым, спасённым Господом”, а Иерусалим назовут „городом, живущим с Богом”, а также „городом, Богом желанным”».

1 Люблю Сион и говорить о нём не прекращу, люблю Иерусалим и речь о нём продолжу до тех пор, пока праведность и спасение не засияют пламенным огнём.

2 And the Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; and you shall be called by a new name which the mouth of the LORD shall bestow upon you.

2 И все народы смогут правду твою увидеть, все цари увидят твою славу, и новым именем тебя все назовут,

3 Господь тобой гордиться будет, ты станешь короной драгоценной в руке Господней.

4 Уже никто тебя не назовёт «народом, оставленным Богом», не назовут твою землю «уничтоженной Богом». «Народ, возлюбленный Богом», так называть тебя будут, землю твою станут «невестой Бога» звать. Ведь Господь тебя любит, и земля твоя будет Ему принадлежать.

6 «На стенах твоих, Иерусалим, Я поставлю своих сторожей, они и днём, и ночью будут молиться». Не умолкайте, стражники, молитесь и напоминайте Господу о Его обещаньях!

7 Молитесь Господу до тех пор, пока Он не восстановит Иерусалим и не заставит все народы его восхвалять.
