Псалом 91

1 Хвалебная песнь на празднование субботы.

2 Господи, какое счастье восхвалять Тебя! Какое счастье петь Богу Всевышнему хвалу!

3 Какое счастье петь утром о Твоей любви и вечером — о верности Твоей

4 на лире десятиструнной, на мелодичной арфе.

5 Твои дела, Господь, мне доставляют радость, творения рук Твоих я воспеваю.

6 Велики дела Твои, Господи, и мысли глубоки.

7 Бездушным не узнать, и не поймут глупцы,

8 что процветающие грешники и преуспевающие нечестивцы погибнут навсегда.

9 Но Ты, Господь, навеки вознесён.

10 Погибнут, Господи, Твои враги, и будут зло творящие развеяны повсюду.

11 Меня Ты силой наградил, словно дикого быка могучим сделал, меня благословением одарил.

12 Крушение врагов мои глаза увидят, и я услышу их разгром.

13 Праведные цветут словно пальмы, словно ливанские кедры стоят высоки.

14 Будут они цвести как деревья в храме Господнем, в Божьих дворах.

15 Будут плодоносить даже в старости, будут всегда зелены и свежи.

16 Они являются доказательством того, что добродетелен Господь, Скала моя, и нет неправедного в Нём ничего.

Psalm 91

1 HE who dwells in the protection of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from vain gossip.

4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you shall trust; his truth shall be your shield and buckler.

5 You shall not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flies by day,

6 Nor for the conspiracy that spreads in darkness; nor for the pestilence that wastes at noonday.

7 Thousands shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.

8 Only with your eyes shall you behold the reward of the wicked.

9 For thou, O LORD, art my trust; thou hast established thy habitation in the highest.

10 There shall no evil befall you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling.

11 For he shall give his angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways.

12 They shall bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

13 You shall tread upon the viper and adder; you shall trample under foot the lion and the great serpent.

14 Because he has loved me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high because he has known my name.

15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.
