Псалом 53

1 Дирижёру хора. Один из маскилей Давида,

2 написанный в то время, когда зифеи пришли к Саулу и сказали: «Мы думаем, что Давид прячется среди нас».

3 Спаси меня, Боже, во имя Твоё и силой Своей освободи меня.

4 Молитву мою, Господь мой, услышь, слова уст моих услышь.

5 Восстали злые против меня, задумали они жизнь мою погубить. Для этих людей не существует Бога. Селах

6 Один лишь Господь помочь мне может, лишь Он один поддерживает меня.

7 Воздай по заслугам тем, кто зло клевещет на меня. Меня в беде Ты не оставь, за его злодеяния уничтожь врага.

8 Желанную жертву Тебе я принесу и Твоё имя воспою, поскольку в нём доброта и благость.

9 От всех моих бед Ты заслонил меня, и сам увидел я разбитого врага.

Psalm 53

1 THE fool has said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and abominable in their iniquities; and there is none that does good.

2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

3 Every one of them has gone astray; they are altogether become filthy; there is none that does good, no, not one.

4 These people no longer recognize evil; they have consumed my people like bread; they have no respect for God.

5 There they feared where no fear was; for God has scattered the bones of hypocrites; they have been ashamed, because God has despised them.

6 Who out of Zion will give salvation to Israel? When God brings back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice and Israel shall be glad.
