Глава 30

1 О! непокорные дети! говорит Иегова. Делают совещания, но без Меня; и выливают образы предположений, но без Духа Моего, чтоб только прилагать грех к греху;

2 Не вопросив уст Моих, идут в Египет, чтоб защитить себя щитом фараоновым, и под тенью Египта укрыться.

3 Но щит фараонов обратится вам в стыд, и прибежище под тенью Египта в бесчестие.

4 Так! были в Цоане князья его, и послы его приходили в Ханес.

5 Все посрамят себя надеждою на тот народ, который бесполезен для них; не помощь и не пользу доставит он, но стыд и срам.

6 Тяжести на скотах отправляются к югу, в землю угнетения и тесноты, где львицы и львы, аспиды и гады летающие; по бокам у ослов богатства их, и на хребтах верблюдов сокровища их, все к народу, который не поможет нисколько.

7 И Египет будет помогать попусту и напрасно: потому Я называю его: Рагав-гем-шавет {т.е. храбры они, сидя дома}. -

8 Теперь поди, начертай сие на доске у них, впиши это в книгу, чтобы осталось к последующему дню, на будущее время, навеки.

9 Ибо это народ упрямый, непокорные дети, сыны, которые не хотят слышать откровения Иеговы,

10 Которые видящим говорят: `перестаньте видеть`, и пророкам: `не предрекайте нам правды, говорите нам лестное, имейте видения лживые.

11 Сойдите с дороги, от пути уклонитесь, удаляйте от взоров наших Святого Израилева`.

12 Посему так говорит Святый Израилев: поелику вы презираете слово сие, а надеетесь на способ обидный и неправый, и на него опираетесь:

13 То вина сия будет на вас, как угрожающая падением трещина в стене высокой, раздувшейся; разрушение ее настанет внезапно, скоропостижно;

14 И разрушение ее будет подобно сокрушению глиняного сосуда, который разбит без пощады, так что в обломках его не найти и черепка, чтобы взять огня из горнила, или воды почерпнуть из ямы.

15 Ибо так говорит Господь Иегова, Святый Израилев: обращением и покоем спасетесь; в тишине и надежде крепость ваша; но вы не хотите,

16 И говорите: `нет, мы на конях убежим` (за то и обратитесь в бегство), `мы на прытких уедем`, (за то и преследующие вас будут прытки).

17 От грозы одного - тысячью, от грозы пятерых побежите в толиком множестве, что остаток ваш будет как веха на вершине горы, и как знамя на холме.

18 И при всем том ждет Иегова, чтоб помиловать вас; и при всем том еще удерживается, жалея вас; ибо Иегова Бог правдивый; блаженны все, ожидающие Его!

19 Так! народ Сионский будет обитать в Иерусалиме; ты не всегда будешь плакать, - Он помилует тебя, помилует по гласу вопля твоего, и как скоро услышит, ответит тебе.

20 И подаст вам Господь в горести хлеб, и в нужде воду; и учители твои уже не будут скрываться; и очи твои будут видеть учителей твоих;

21 И уши твои будут слышать слово, позади тебя говорящее: `вот путь, идите по нему`, если бы вы уклонились направо, и если бы вы уклонились налево.

22 Тогда нечистою назовете ризу идолов, сделанную из серебра твоего, и оклад истуканов, вылитый из золота твоего; бросишь их, как скверность; `прочь`, скажешь всему тому.

23 И даст Он дождь семени твоему, которым засеешь землю, и хлеб, плод земли, будет жирен и сочен; стада твои в тот день будет кормить обширное пастбище.

24 И волы и ослы, пашущие землю, будут есть корм соленый, очищенный лопатою и веялом.

25 И на всякой горе высокой, и на всяком холме возвышенном потекут ручьи, потоки вод, в день великого поражения, когда упадут башни.

26 И свет луны будет, как свет солнца, а свет солнца будет светлее всемеро, как свет семи дней, в тот день, когда Иегова заживит рану народа Своего, и исцелит язвы, какими был он наказан.

27 Се, имя Иеговы! Он идет издалека; пылает гнев Его, и несется грозно, уста Его исполнены негодования, и язык Его, как поядающий огонь.

28 И дух Его, как разлившийся поток, который поднимется даже до выи, чтобы просеять иноплеменных решетом истощения; и узда, направляющая к гибели, будет на щеках народов.

29 А у вас будут песни, как в ту ночь {в ночь пасхальную}, когда освящается праздник, и веселие сердца, как веселится идущий {в торжественных шествиях во храм, например во время приношения начатков} с свирелью на гору Иеговы, к твердыне Израилевой.

30 И возгремит Иегова величественным гласом Своим, и явит тяготение мышцы Своей в кипящем гневе, и в пламени поядающего огня, в проливном дожде, и в наводнении и в граде каменном.

31 Ибо от гласа Иеговы содрогнется Ассур; Он {т.е. Иегова} ударит жезлом.

32 И на всяком месте, где пройдет жезл предназначенный, которым Иегова поразит его, будут звучать потом тимпаны и арфы; и Он сразится с ним в битвах всепотрясающих.

33 Ибо Тофет давно готов; он устроен и для царя; костер на нем сделан высокий, пространный; много огня и дров; дуновение Иеговы зажжет его, как серный поток. {Собст. Тофет: место в долине Гинном, где суеверные Иудеи приносили жертвы Молоху. Отсюда слово: геена; Цр. 23:10; Мф. 5:22, 29, 30. И так Тофет, кроме сожжения неприятельских тел в долине Гинном, означает еще то же, что и геена в Нов. Зав. - Мф. 25:31-46; Отк. 19:21; 20:10, 15; 21:8.}

Isaiah

Chapter 30

1 WOE to the rebellious children, says the LORD, who take counsel, but not of me; and who offer wine offerings, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin;

2 Who start to go down to Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth, to strengthen themselves by the strength of Pharaoh, and to take shelter in the shadow of Egypt!

3 Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be to your shame, and the shelter of the shadow of Egypt to your confusion.

4 For while Pharaoh is in Zoan, his princes and ambassadors shall act deceitfully.

5 They go to a people that cannot profit them, neither be a help nor a profit, but shame and reproach.

6 The prophecy concerning the oppressors of the south: Into a land of trouble and anguish, from whence come the lion and the young lion, the viper and the fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the backs of young asses, and their treasures upon the humps of camels, to a people that shall not profit them.

7 For the Egyptians shall help in vain and in falsehood; therefore I have warned them, for this their trust is in vain.

8 Now come, write it on these tablets and on the book of their covenant, that it may be for the time to come, for a testimony for ever and ever;

9 For this is a rebellious people, lying children, children who will not hear the law of the LORD;

10 Who have said to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not to us reproof; speak to us deception, prophesy lies;

11 Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.

12 Therefore thus says the LORD, the Holy One of Israel: Because you have despised this word and trusted in oppression and have complained and yet trusted in it;

13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall and as a high wall whose breaking comes suddenly at an instant.

14 And its breaking is as the breaking of the potter's vessel that is broken in pieces, without pity; so that there shall not be found in its fragments a shard to take fire from the hearth or to take water with it out of the cistern.

15 Therefore thus says the LORD, the Holy One of Israel: When you will repent and rest you will be saved; in quietness and in hope shall be your strength; but you would not listen.

16 But you said, Not so, for we will ride upon horses, and will flee upon swift ones; therefore you shall flee, and your pursuers shall be swift.

17 A thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall you flee till you are left as a beacon on the top of a mountain and as an ensign on a hill.

18 Therefore the LORD will begin to be gracious to you, and therefore he will be exalted that he may have mercy upon you; for the LORD is a God of judgment; blessed are all those who wait for him.

19 For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem; you shall weep no more; he will be very gracious to you at the voice of your cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer you.

20 And though the LORD give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet he will not gather any more those who have caused you to err, and your eyes shall see the misfortune of those who have caused you to err;

21 And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way, walk in it, and do not turn aside, either to the right hand or to the left.

22 And you shall defile the silver which is overlaid on your idols, and the ornament of your molten images of gold; you shall cast them away like unclean water of a menstrous woman; and you shall take them outside like rubbish.

23 Then he shall give rain to your seed, with which you shall sow the ground; and grain of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fertile and plentiful; on that day shall your cattle graze in rich pastures.

24 The oxen and the young bullocks that till the ground shall eat clean provender which has been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan.

25 And there shall be upon every high mountain and upon every high hill, flowing streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter when the towers fall.

26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD binds up the breach of his people and heals the pain of their wound.

27 Behold, the name of the LORD comes from afar, his wrath burns and his train is glorious; his lips are full of indignation and his tongue as a devouring fire;

28 And his breath as an overflowing torrent shall reach up to the neck to confuse the nations because of their erring vanity, and because of the bridle which is in the jaws of the nations, which causes them to err.

29 You shall have a song, even a garland which is sanctified in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one walks rejoicing to come to the mountain of the LORD, to the mighty One of Israel.

30 And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall show the striking of his arm with the indignation of his anger and with the flame of a devouring fire, with the rainstorm and tempest and hailstones.

31 For from before the excellency of the LORD shall the Assyrian be defeated and smitten with a rod.

32 And in all his works, the staff of affliction which the LORD shall lay upon him shall be with tabrets and harps; and with a fierce battle he shall fight against him.

33 For he has prepared his punishment of old; yea, it is prepared to be executed; he has made it deep and large in his dwelling place; the wood and the fire are plentiful; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, does kindle it.

1 WOE to the rebellious children, says the LORD, who take counsel, but not of me; and who offer wine offerings, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin;

2 Не вопросив уст Моих, идут в Египет, чтоб защитить себя щитом фараоновым, и под тенью Египта укрыться.

2 Who start to go down to Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth, to strengthen themselves by the strength of Pharaoh, and to take shelter in the shadow of Egypt!

3 Но щит фараонов обратится вам в стыд, и прибежище под тенью Египта в бесчестие.

3 Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be to your shame, and the shelter of the shadow of Egypt to your confusion.

4 Так! были в Цоане князья его, и послы его приходили в Ханес.

4 For while Pharaoh is in Zoan, his princes and ambassadors shall act deceitfully.

5 Все посрамят себя надеждою на тот народ, который бесполезен для них; не помощь и не пользу доставит он, но стыд и срам.

5 They go to a people that cannot profit them, neither be a help nor a profit, but shame and reproach.

6 Тяжести на скотах отправляются к югу, в землю угнетения и тесноты, где львицы и львы, аспиды и гады летающие; по бокам у ослов богатства их, и на хребтах верблюдов сокровища их, все к народу, который не поможет нисколько.

6 The prophecy concerning the oppressors of the south: Into a land of trouble and anguish, from whence come the lion and the young lion, the viper and the fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the backs of young asses, and their treasures upon the humps of camels, to a people that shall not profit them.

7 И Египет будет помогать попусту и напрасно: потому Я называю его: Рагав-гем-шавет {т.е. храбры они, сидя дома}. -

7 For the Egyptians shall help in vain and in falsehood; therefore I have warned them, for this their trust is in vain.

8 Теперь поди, начертай сие на доске у них, впиши это в книгу, чтобы осталось к последующему дню, на будущее время, навеки.

8 Now come, write it on these tablets and on the book of their covenant, that it may be for the time to come, for a testimony for ever and ever;

9 Ибо это народ упрямый, непокорные дети, сыны, которые не хотят слышать откровения Иеговы,

9 For this is a rebellious people, lying children, children who will not hear the law of the LORD;

10 Которые видящим говорят: `перестаньте видеть`, и пророкам: `не предрекайте нам правды, говорите нам лестное, имейте видения лживые.

10 Who have said to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not to us reproof; speak to us deception, prophesy lies;

11 Сойдите с дороги, от пути уклонитесь, удаляйте от взоров наших Святого Израилева`.

11 Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.

12 Посему так говорит Святый Израилев: поелику вы презираете слово сие, а надеетесь на способ обидный и неправый, и на него опираетесь:

12 Therefore thus says the LORD, the Holy One of Israel: Because you have despised this word and trusted in oppression and have complained and yet trusted in it;

13 То вина сия будет на вас, как угрожающая падением трещина в стене высокой, раздувшейся; разрушение ее настанет внезапно, скоропостижно;

13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall and as a high wall whose breaking comes suddenly at an instant.

14 И разрушение ее будет подобно сокрушению глиняного сосуда, который разбит без пощады, так что в обломках его не найти и черепка, чтобы взять огня из горнила, или воды почерпнуть из ямы.

14 And its breaking is as the breaking of the potter's vessel that is broken in pieces, without pity; so that there shall not be found in its fragments a shard to take fire from the hearth or to take water with it out of the cistern.

15 Ибо так говорит Господь Иегова, Святый Израилев: обращением и покоем спасетесь; в тишине и надежде крепость ваша; но вы не хотите,

15 Therefore thus says the LORD, the Holy One of Israel: When you will repent and rest you will be saved; in quietness and in hope shall be your strength; but you would not listen.

16 И говорите: `нет, мы на конях убежим` (за то и обратитесь в бегство), `мы на прытких уедем`, (за то и преследующие вас будут прытки).

16 But you said, Not so, for we will ride upon horses, and will flee upon swift ones; therefore you shall flee, and your pursuers shall be swift.

17 От грозы одного - тысячью, от грозы пятерых побежите в толиком множестве, что остаток ваш будет как веха на вершине горы, и как знамя на холме.

17 A thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall you flee till you are left as a beacon on the top of a mountain and as an ensign on a hill.

18 И при всем том ждет Иегова, чтоб помиловать вас; и при всем том еще удерживается, жалея вас; ибо Иегова Бог правдивый; блаженны все, ожидающие Его!

19 Так! народ Сионский будет обитать в Иерусалиме; ты не всегда будешь плакать, - Он помилует тебя, помилует по гласу вопля твоего, и как скоро услышит, ответит тебе.

19 For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem; you shall weep no more; he will be very gracious to you at the voice of your cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer you.

20 И подаст вам Господь в горести хлеб, и в нужде воду; и учители твои уже не будут скрываться; и очи твои будут видеть учителей твоих;

20 And though the LORD give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet he will not gather any more those who have caused you to err, and your eyes shall see the misfortune of those who have caused you to err;

21 И уши твои будут слышать слово, позади тебя говорящее: `вот путь, идите по нему`, если бы вы уклонились направо, и если бы вы уклонились налево.

21 And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way, walk in it, and do not turn aside, either to the right hand or to the left.

22 Тогда нечистою назовете ризу идолов, сделанную из серебра твоего, и оклад истуканов, вылитый из золота твоего; бросишь их, как скверность; `прочь`, скажешь всему тому.

22 And you shall defile the silver which is overlaid on your idols, and the ornament of your molten images of gold; you shall cast them away like unclean water of a menstrous woman; and you shall take them outside like rubbish.

23 И даст Он дождь семени твоему, которым засеешь землю, и хлеб, плод земли, будет жирен и сочен; стада твои в тот день будет кормить обширное пастбище.

23 Then he shall give rain to your seed, with which you shall sow the ground; and grain of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fertile and plentiful; on that day shall your cattle graze in rich pastures.

24 И волы и ослы, пашущие землю, будут есть корм соленый, очищенный лопатою и веялом.

24 The oxen and the young bullocks that till the ground shall eat clean provender which has been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan.

25 И на всякой горе высокой, и на всяком холме возвышенном потекут ручьи, потоки вод, в день великого поражения, когда упадут башни.

25 And there shall be upon every high mountain and upon every high hill, flowing streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter when the towers fall.

26 И свет луны будет, как свет солнца, а свет солнца будет светлее всемеро, как свет семи дней, в тот день, когда Иегова заживит рану народа Своего, и исцелит язвы, какими был он наказан.

26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD binds up the breach of his people and heals the pain of their wound.

27 Се, имя Иеговы! Он идет издалека; пылает гнев Его, и несется грозно, уста Его исполнены негодования, и язык Его, как поядающий огонь.

27 Behold, the name of the LORD comes from afar, his wrath burns and his train is glorious; his lips are full of indignation and his tongue as a devouring fire;

28 И дух Его, как разлившийся поток, который поднимется даже до выи, чтобы просеять иноплеменных решетом истощения; и узда, направляющая к гибели, будет на щеках народов.
