Psalm 138

1 I WILL praise thee with my whole heart; before the kings will I sing praise to thee.

2 I will worship in thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth; for thou hast magnified thy word above every name.

3 In the day when I cried to thee, thou didst answer me, and didst increase the strength of my soul.

4 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, for they have heard the words of thy mouth.

5 Yea, they shall praise the ways of the LORD; for great is the glory of the LORD.

6 Though the LORD be high, yet can he see those who have been brought low; but the proud he knows from afar.

7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt save me; thou shalt stretch forth thy hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

8 O LORD, rest thy right hand upon me; thy mercy, O LORD, endures for ever; forsake not the works of thine own hands.

1 Господи, Ты испытал меня, поэтому Ты обо мне всё знаешь:

2 когда сажусь, когда встаю, все мои мысли узнаёшь издалека.

3 Тебе известно всё: когда ложусь, иль дом свой покидаю, обо всех моих поступках знаешь Ты наверняка.

4 Ещё я уст не разомкнул, как Ты всё уже знаешь, что намереваюсь молвить я.

5 Ты, Господи, везде вокруг меня: и впереди, и сзади, и на моём плече Твоя рука.

6 Всё удивительно, что знаешь Ты, постичь я этого не в состоянии.

7 Твой Дух повсюду следует за мной. От Твоего присутствия не укрыться мне.

8 Когда я в небеса пойду, то там Тебя увижу, спущусь под землю — и там Тебя найду.
