Psalm 5

1 GIVE ear to my words, O LORD, and consider my meditation.

2 Hearken to the voice of my cry, my King and my God; for to thee do I pray.

3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD: and in the morning will I prepare myself and see thee.

4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness; neither shall evil dwell with thee.

5 The proud shall not stand in thy sight; thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak falsehood; the LORD will reject the bloody and deceitful man.

7 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy; and I will enter into thy house and worship in thy holy temple.

8 Lead me, O LORD, in thy reverence and righteousness; and because of mine enemies, make thy way straight before my face.

9 For there is no justice in their mouth; there is wickedness in them; their throat is an open sepulchre; they deceive with their tongues.

10 Condemn thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their wickedness, for they have provoked thee.

11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice; they shall glorify thee forever, and thou shalt dwell among them; and all they that love thy name shall be strengthened by thee.

12 For thou wilt bless the righteous; O LORD, thou hast adorned me like a perfect shield.

2 Господи, услышь меня, пойми, что я Тебе сказать пытаюсь.

3 Бог мой, Царь мой, выслушай и прими мою молитву.

4 Господь, Тебе несу дары я по утрам. О помощи к Тебе взываю, и мои молитвы по утрам Ты слышишь.

5 Боже, Ты не позволишь злым людям к Тебе приблизиться; они не могут находиться в присутствии Твоём!

6 Глупцам нет места при Тебе, и зло творящих Ты ненавидишь.

7 Лжецам Ты шлёшь уничтожение. Ты презираешь, Господи, всех кровожадных и лукавых.

8 Но я же, по великой милости Твоей, войду в Твой храм святой, и, Господи, с благоговением поклонюсь Тебе.

9 Господь, так укажи, как правильно мне жить и помоги с пути не сбиться. Ведь каждый во мне только слабости ищет, поэтому путь правильный мне укажи, Господь.

10 Враги мои правду никогда не говорят! Они — лжецы и искажают правду. Их рты — раскрытые могилы. Многих вводят они в обман своими льстивыми словами.

11 Накажи их, Господи, пускай они в свои же попадут капканы. Пошли им наказание за грехи, за их непослушание Тебе.

12 Но сделай всех, кто верует в Тебя, счастливыми навеки! Того, кто имя Твоё любит, спаси и сохрани, и силы дай.
