Psalm 20

1 MAY the LORD answer you in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend you;

2 Send you help from his sanctuary, and strengthen you out of Zion.

3 Let the LORD remember all your offerings, and make acceptable your burnt sacrifices.

4 May the LORD grant you according to your own heart, and fulfil all your counsel.

5 We will be glorified in your salvation, and in the name of our God we will be exalted; the LORD fulfil all your petitions.

6 Henceforth it is known that the LORD has saved his anointed; and has heard him from his holy heaven and saved with the strength of his right hand.

7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will prevail through the name of the LORD our God.

8 They are bowed down and fallen; but we are risen and stand ready.

9 O LORD, save us, and let our King answer us in the day when we call upon him.

2 Господи! Твоею силою веселится Царь; и сколь велика его радость о Твоем спасении.

3 Ты дал ему, чего желало сердце его, и молитвы уст его не отринул. (Села.)

4 Ибо Ты сретил его благословениями благости, возложил на главу его венец из дорогих камней.

5 Он просил у Тебя жизни, [и] Ты дал ему долгоденствие на век и век.

6 Велика слава его Твоим спасением; Ты возложил на него красоту и великолепие.

7 Ты соделал его предметом вечных благословений, возвеселил его радостью лица Твоего;

8 Ибо Царь уповает на Господа и на милость Всевышнего; и не колеблется.

9 Найдет рука Твоя всех врагов твоих, найдет десница твоя [всех] ненавидящих тебя.
