Псалом 146

1 Славьте Господа, так как Он благ! Воспевайте Бога нашего, потому что, радостно прославляя Его, мы поступаем верно.

2 Господь отстроил Иерусалим, привёл обратно весь народ Израиля, который был пленён.

3 Разбитые сердца Он исцеляет и залечивает раны.

4 Количество всех звёзд Он исчисляет и каждой имя знает Бог.

5 Велик Господь и могуществен, нет мудрости Его предела.

6 Господь возвышает смиренных, повергает в стыд коварных.

7 Пой Господу с благодарностью, играй для Него на арфе.

8 Небо тучами Он покрывает, на землю дождь посылает, траву на холмах заставляет расти.

9 Он пищу даёт животным и птицам, когда просят они.

10 Богу никогда не в радость ни конь боевой, ни воин.

11 Радость Господу приносят только те, кто верят в Него и Его нерушимую любовь.

Psalm 146

1 PRAISE the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.

2 While I live will I praise the LORD; I will sing praises to my God as long as I live.

3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

4 His breath goes forth, he returns to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

5 Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God,

6 Who made heaven and earth, the sea and all that therein is; who keeps truth for ever;

7 Who executes justice for the oppressed; who gives food to the hungry. The LORD releases the prisoners;

8 The LORD opens the eyes of the blind; the LORD raises those who are bowed down; the LORD loves the righteous;

9 The LORD takes care of the poor; he feeds the fatherless and widows; but the way of the wicked he turns upside down.

10 The LORD shall reign for ever, even your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD.
