Псалом 139

1 Дирижёру хора. Хвалебная песнь Давида.

2 Спаси меня, Господи, от зло творящих и от жестоких охрани.

3 Они в сердцах своих вынашивают злые планы, вечно затевая распри и раздоры.

4 Их языки словно змеиные клыки, и ядовиты их уста. Селах

5 Отведи от меня нападки злобных, упаси от жестоких, плетущих ужасные замыслы против меня.

6 Гордецы на меня раскинули сети, прячут ловушки и ставят капканы на дороге моей. Селах

7 Господи, Ты мой Бог, так услышь мою о помощи мольбу.

8 Господи, Владыка мой, Ты — мой могучий Спаситель, Ты словно шлем, который в битве охраняет голову мою.

9 Господи, не позволь планам зло творящих сбыться, не дай их желаниям исполниться вовеки. Селах

10 Пусть испытают они все беды, которые их языки пророчили другим.

11 Обрушь на них горящие угли, брось их в смертельную трясину.

12 Не дай лжецам этим выжить, пусть преследуют беды жестоких.

13 Знаю, Господь справедливо судить будет бедных, и угнетённым поможет.

14 Праведные будут славить Твоё имя, а честные будут жить в присутствии Твоём.

Psalm 139

1 O LORD, thou hast searched me and known me.

2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thoughts from above.

3 Thou knowest my way and my paths, and art acquainted with all my ways.

4 For if there is deception in my tongue, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.

5 From the beginning to the end, thou knowest me, O LORD, for thou hast formed and laid thy hand upon me.

6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

7 Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

8 If I ascend into heaven, thou art there; if I descend into Sheol, behold, thou art there also.

9 If I lift up my wings like those of an eagle, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,

10 Even there also shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall be as light upon me; even the night shall be light before my face.

12 The darkness shall not be dark to thee; but the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

13 For thou hast made my heart; thou hast accepted me from my mother's womb.

14 I will praise thee, because of the wonders which thou hast done; marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knows right well.
