Псалом 59

1 Дирижёру хора. На мелодию «Лилия соглашения». Миктам Давида в поучение,

2 который был написан в то время, когда Давид воевал с Сирией месопотамской и цованской и когда Иоав вернулся и победил двенадцать тысяч едомских воинов в Соляной долине.

3 Ты, Боже, прогневался на нас, и, отвергнув, уничтожил. Вернись и силу дай!

4 Ты землю сотрясал, и она раскололась; наш мир разрушается словно ветхая стена. Прошу Тебя, восстанови его!

5 Народу Своему Ты послал беду, от которой нас шатает словно от вина.

6 Но для тех, кто Тебе верен, Ты знамя развернул, чтоб под укрытие они к нему бежали. Селах

7 Ради спасения тех, кого Ты возлюбил, даруй нам помощь силою Своею.

8 Из храма Своего Бог молвил: «Я буду победителем, ликуйте! Я разделю среди Своего народа Сихем и долину Сокхов.

9 Моими будут Галаад и Манасия, Ефрем мне станет шлемом, а Иуда — скипетром Моим.

10 Чашей для омовения ног Моих станет Моав, Едом станет рабом, подносящим Мои сандалии. Я одолею филистимлян и провозглашу победу».

11 Кто меня поведёт на Едом, на этот укреплённый город?

12 Не Ты ли, Боже, отвернувшийся от нас, кто в битву с нашими войсками больше не идёт?

13 Дай помощь победить врага, так как помощь людская бесполезна.

14 Только Бог нам может силу дать, только Он поможет победить врага!

2 Deliver5337 me from the workers6466 of iniquity,205 and save3467 me from bloody1818 men.582

3 For, see,2009 they lie in wait693 for my soul:5315 the mighty5794 are gathered1481 against5921 me; not for my transgression,6588 nor3808 for my sin,2403 O LORD.3068

4 They run7323 and prepare3559 themselves without1097 my fault:5771 awake5782 to help7125 me, and behold.7200

7 Behold,2009 they belch5042 out with their mouth:6310 swords2719 are in their lips:8193 for who,4310 say they, does hear?8085

8 But you, O LORD,3068 shall laugh7832 at them; you shall have all3605 the heathen1471 in derision.3932

9 Because of his strength5797 will I wait8104 on you: for God430 is my defense.4869

10 The God430 of my mercy2617 shall prevent6923 me: God430 shall let me see7200 my desire on my enemies.8324

11 Slay2026 them not, lest6435 my people5971 forget:7911 scatter5128 them by your power;2428 and bring3381 them down,3381 O Lord136 our shield.4043

12 For the sin2403 of their mouth6310 and the words1697 of their lips8193 let them even be taken3920 in their pride:1347 and for cursing423 and lying3585 which they speak.5608
