Глава 24

1 Се, Иегова опустошает землю и истощает ее; изменил вид ее и рассеял живущих на ней.

2 И что делает с народом, то и с священником; что с слугою, то же и с господином его; что с служанкою, то же и с госпожою ее; что с покупающим, то же и с продающим; что с берущим взаймы, то и с заимодавцем; что с получающим в рост, то же и с тем, кто дает ему в рост.

3 Истощена земля, чрезвычайно истощена, разорена до крайности, ибо Иегова изрек слово сие. -

4 Сетует, уныла земля: поникла, уныла вселенная; поникли возвышавшиеся над народом земли.

5 И земля осквернена под ногами живущих на ней; ибо они преступили законы, изменили устав, разрушили вечный завет.

6 За то и поядает землю проклятие; и несут наказание живущие на ней; за то выжжены живущие на земле, и осталось людей немного. -

7 Печален сок грозда; виноградная лоза уныла; воздыхают все веселившиеся сердцем.

8 Веселие тимпанов кончилось; умолк шум веселящихся; веселие цитры кончилось.

9 Уже не пьют вина с песнями; горька сикера для пьющих ее.

10 Разрушен опустевший город, заперты входы во всякий дом.

11 Рыдают на улицах над вином; все веселие удалилось, преселилась радость земли.

12 Запустение осталось в городе, и врата разбитые развалились.

13 Ибо то же теперь будет среди земли, в средоточии народов, что бывает по снятии маслин, по обрании винограда, когда кончится обирание -

14 Сии возвысят глас свой, восторжествуют в величествии Иеговы, воскликнут сильнее моря.

15 Итак, славьте Иегову на востоке, на островах моря имя Иеговы, Бога Израилева.

16 От края земли мы слышим пение: `Слава праведному`! И сказал я: тайна у меня, тайна у меня! увы мне! злодеи злодействуют, и притом для злодеяния злодеи злодействуют.

17 Ужас, и яма, и петля на тебя, житель земли!

18 Тогда побежавший от гласа ужаса, упадет в яму; и кто выйдет из ямы, будет уловлен в петлю; ибо окна с небесной высоты растворились, и основания земли трясутся.

19 Земля треснула, земля рухнула, земля колеблется.

20 Шатается земля, как пьяный, и качается, как висячий шалаш, и тяготеет на ней беззаконие ее, падет, и уже не восстанет. -

21 И будет в оный день, пересмотрит Иегова воинство выспреннее на высоте, и царей земных на земле.

22 И будут собраны как узники в ров, и будут заключены в темницу, и будут пересмотрены после многих дней.

23 И покраснеет луна, и устыдится солнце, когда Иегова воинств воцарится на горе Сионе и в Иерусалиме, и пред старейшинами его будет слава.

Chapter 24

1 BEHOLD, the LORD shall destroy the earth and lay it waste and turn it upside down and scatter its inhabitants.

2 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the creditor, so with the debtor.

3 The land shall be utterly destroyed and utterly spoiled; for the LORD has spoken this word.

4 The earth howls and sits in mourning, the world wails and sits in mourning, the haughty people of the earth lament.

5 The earth also is defiled like its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the law, changed the ordinance, and nullified the everlasting covenant.

6 Therefore the earth shall sit in mourning, and all its inhabitants shall be condemned; therefore all the inhabitants of the earth shall be destroyed, and a few men shall be left.

7 The grain mourns, the vine languishes, all the merry-hearted sigh.

8 The mirth of the timbrels has ceased, the noise of those that rejoice has ended, the joy of the harp is over.

9 They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to those who drink it.

10 The city is plundered, every wine cellar is shut up, so that no one may come in.

11 There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy has ended, the mirth of the land is gone.

12 The city is left in desolation, and its gates are broken with destruction.

13 For thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the peoples, it shall be as the shaking of an olive tree and as the gleaning of grapes when the vintage is done.

14 They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea.

15 Therefore glorify the LORD with a song, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the islands of the sea.

16 From the uttermost parts of the earth we have heard songs, even the glory of the righteous, saying, It is a mystery to me. it is a mystery to me, woe to me, the wicked have dealt treacherously, yea, the wicked have dealt very treacherously.

17 Fear and the pit and the snare are upon you, O inhabitants of the earth.

18 And it shall come to pass that he who flees from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he who comes up out of the midst of the pit shall be caught in the snare; for the fountains from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.

19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is utterly moved, the earth is staggering exceedingly.

20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard and shall be shaken like a booth, and its transgression shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall and not rise again.

21 And it shall come to pass in that day that the LORD shall punish the host of the lofty ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

22 And they shall be gathered together as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days they shall be saved.

23 Then the moon shall be confounded and the sun ashamed, for the LORD of hosts shall reign on mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and will be glorified in the presence of his saints.

1 Се, Иегова опустошает землю и истощает ее; изменил вид ее и рассеял живущих на ней.

1 BEHOLD, the LORD shall destroy the earth and lay it waste and turn it upside down and scatter its inhabitants.

3 Истощена земля, чрезвычайно истощена, разорена до крайности, ибо Иегова изрек слово сие. -

3 The land shall be utterly destroyed and utterly spoiled; for the LORD has spoken this word.

4 Сетует, уныла земля: поникла, уныла вселенная; поникли возвышавшиеся над народом земли.

4 The earth howls and sits in mourning, the world wails and sits in mourning, the haughty people of the earth lament.

5 И земля осквернена под ногами живущих на ней; ибо они преступили законы, изменили устав, разрушили вечный завет.

5 The earth also is defiled like its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the law, changed the ordinance, and nullified the everlasting covenant.

6 За то и поядает землю проклятие; и несут наказание живущие на ней; за то выжжены живущие на земле, и осталось людей немного. -

6 Therefore the earth shall sit in mourning, and all its inhabitants shall be condemned; therefore all the inhabitants of the earth shall be destroyed, and a few men shall be left.

7 Печален сок грозда; виноградная лоза уныла; воздыхают все веселившиеся сердцем.

7 The grain mourns, the vine languishes, all the merry-hearted sigh.

8 Веселие тимпанов кончилось; умолк шум веселящихся; веселие цитры кончилось.

9 Уже не пьют вина с песнями; горька сикера для пьющих ее.

9 They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to those who drink it.

10 Разрушен опустевший город, заперты входы во всякий дом.

10 The city is plundered, every wine cellar is shut up, so that no one may come in.

11 Рыдают на улицах над вином; все веселие удалилось, преселилась радость земли.

11 There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy has ended, the mirth of the land is gone.

12 Запустение осталось в городе, и врата разбитые развалились.

12 The city is left in desolation, and its gates are broken with destruction.

13 Ибо то же теперь будет среди земли, в средоточии народов, что бывает по снятии маслин, по обрании винограда, когда кончится обирание -

13 For thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the peoples, it shall be as the shaking of an olive tree and as the gleaning of grapes when the vintage is done.

14 Сии возвысят глас свой, восторжествуют в величествии Иеговы, воскликнут сильнее моря.

14 They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea.

15 Итак, славьте Иегову на востоке, на островах моря имя Иеговы, Бога Израилева.

15 Therefore glorify the LORD with a song, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the islands of the sea.

18 Тогда побежавший от гласа ужаса, упадет в яму; и кто выйдет из ямы, будет уловлен в петлю; ибо окна с небесной высоты растворились, и основания земли трясутся.

18 And it shall come to pass that he who flees from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he who comes up out of the midst of the pit shall be caught in the snare; for the fountains from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.

19 Земля треснула, земля рухнула, земля колеблется.

21 And it shall come to pass in that day that the LORD shall punish the host of the lofty ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

22 И будут собраны как узники в ров, и будут заключены в темницу, и будут пересмотрены после многих дней.

22 And they shall be gathered together as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days they shall be saved.

23 И покраснеет луна, и устыдится солнце, когда Иегова воинств воцарится на горе Сионе и в Иерусалиме, и пред старейшинами его будет слава.

23 Then the moon shall be confounded and the sun ashamed, for the LORD of hosts shall reign on mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and will be glorified in the presence of his saints.
