Глава 57

1 Праведника не стало, и ни один человек не берет этого на сердце; святые мужи уносятся, и никто не помыслит, что от зла уносится праведник.

2 Он отходит к блаженству; ходившие прямою стезею своею почиют на ложах своих.

3 Но предстаньте сюда вы, дети волшебницы, отродие прелюбодея и блудницы!

4 Над кем вы тешитесь, против кого расширили уста, высовываете языки? не вы ли дети преступления, отродие лжи,

5 Разжигаемые похотию в терпентинных рощах, под всяким зеленым деревом, закалающие детей на долинах, под кровом нависших скал?

6 С гладкими камнями полевыми общение у тебя; они, они суть жребий твой; им ты и возлияния возливаешь, и дары возносишь; это ли может утешить Меня?

7 На высокой и величественной горе ты расстилаешь для себя ложе; и приходишь туда приносить жертву.

8 За дверью также и за дверными столбами ставишь памятники твои; ибо от Меня отвратившись, открываешь постель твою, и всходишь распространяешь ложе твое, и договариваешься с теми из них, с которыми любишь лежать, где усмотрела место. -

9 Ты ходила также к царю с оливковым маслом, и носила ему много мастей своих, и далеко посылала послов своих, и унижалась до преисподней.

10 От долгого пути своего утомлялась, но не говорила: `надежда потеряна`! все еще находила живость в руке своей, и потому не чувствовала немощи.

11 Но кого ты испугалась и побоялась, что сделалась неверною, и Меня не стала помнить, не принимаешь к своему сердцу? не оттого ли, что Я молчал, и притом долго, ты не стала бояться Меня?

12 Я покажу твою праведность и дела твои, и они тебе не принесут никакой пользы.

13 Когда ты вопиешь, пусть бы защитили тебя собрания твои; но всех их унесет ветер, развеет дуновение; а надеющийся на Меня наследует землю, и будет владеть горою святою Моею.

14 И сказал: возвышайте, возвышайте, равняйте дорогу, уберите препоны с пути народа Моего!

15 Ибо так говорит Высокий и Превознесенный, вечно живущий, и Которого имя Святый: Я живу на высоте небес и во святилище, и еще близ человека теснимого и ослабевшего в духе, чтоб оживлять дух ослабевших, и оживлять сердца теснимых.

16 Ибо не вечно сужусь, и не бесконечно гневаюсь; когда дух от Меня изнемогает, тогда Я даю отдохновения.

17 За беззаконие корыстолюбия его Я гневался, и поражал его, сокрывал лице, и негодовал; но он, отступник, шел путем своего сердца.

18 Вижу пути его, но исцелю его; и буду водить его, и утешениями воздам ему, и тем, которые оплакивают его.

19 Я произведу плод уст: мир, мир дальнему и ближнему, говорит Иегова, и исцелю его.

20 А беззаконники как море взволнованное, когда оно не может успокоиться, и когда воды его возметают ил и грязь.

21 Нет мира беззаконникам, говорит Бог мой.

Chapter 57

1 The righteous6662 perishes,6 and no369 man376 lays7760 it to heart:3820 and merciful2617 men582 are taken622 away, none369 considering995 that the righteous6662 is taken622 away from the evil7451 to come.

2 He shall enter935 into peace:7965 they shall rest5117 in their beds,4904 each one walking1980 in his uprightness.5228

3 But draw near7126 here, you sons1121 of the sorceress,6049 the seed2233 of the adulterer5003 and the whore.2181

4 Against5921 whom4310 do you sport6026 yourselves? against5921 whom4310 make you a wide7337 mouth,6310 and draw748 out the tongue?3956 are you not children3206 of transgression,6588 a seed2233 of falsehood.8267

5 Enflaming2552 yourselves with idols410 under8478 every3605 green7488 tree,6086 slaying7819 the children3206 in the valleys5158 under8478 the clefts5585 of the rocks?5553

6 Among the smooth2511 stones of the stream5158 is your portion;2506 they, they are your lot:1486 even1571 to them have you poured8210 a drink5262 offering, you have offered5927 a meat offering.4503 Should I receive5162 comfort5162 in these?428

7 On a lofty1364 and high5375 mountain2022 have you set7760 your bed:4904 even1571 thither8033 went5927 you up to offer2076 sacrifice.2077

8 Behind310 the doors1817 also and the posts4201 have you set7760 up your remembrance:2146 for you have discovered1540 yourself to another than me, and are gone5927 up; you have enlarged7337 your bed,4904 and made3772 you a covenant with them; you loved157 their bed4904 where3027 you saw2372 it.

9 And you went7788 to the king4428 with ointment,8081 and did increase7235 your perfumes,7547 and did send7971 your messengers6735 far7350 off, and did debase8213 yourself even to hell.7585

10 You are wearied3021 in the greatness7230 of your way;1870 yet said559 you not, There is no hope:2976 you have found4672 the life2416 of your hand;3027 therefore5921 3651 you were not grieved.2470

11 And of whom4310 have you been afraid1672 or feared,3372 that you have lied,3576 and have not remembered2142 me, nor3808 laid7760 it to your heart?3820 have not I held2814 my peace2814 even of old,5769 and you fear3372 me not?

12 I will declare5046 your righteousness,6666 and your works;4639 for they shall not profit3276 you.

13 When you cry,2199 let your companies736 deliver5337 you; but the wind7307 shall carry5375 them all3605 away; vanity1892 shall take3947 them: but he that puts his trust2620 in me shall possess5157 the land,776 and shall inherit3423 my holy6944 mountain;2022

14 And shall say,559 Cast5549 you up, cast5549 you up, prepare6437 the way,1870 take7311 up the stumbling4383 block4383 out of the way1870 of my people.5971

15 For thus3541 said559 the high7311 and lofty5375 One that inhabits7931 eternity,5703 whose name8034 is Holy;6918 I dwell7931 in the high4791 and holy6918 place, with him also that is of a contrite1793 and humble8217 spirit,7307 to revive2421 the spirit7307 of the humble,8217 and to revive2421 the heart3820 of the contrite1792 ones.

16 For I will not contend7378 for ever,5769 neither3808 will I be always5331 wroth:7107 for the spirit7307 should fail5848 before6440 me, and the souls5397 which I have made.6213

17 For the iniquity5771 of his covetousness1215 was I wroth,7107 and smote5221 him: I hid5641 me, and was wroth,7107 and he went3212 on frowardly7726 in the way1870 of his heart.3820

18 I have seen7200 his ways,1870 and will heal7495 him: I will lead5148 him also, and restore7999 comforts5150 to him and to his mourners.57

19 I create1254 the fruit5108 of the lips;8193 Peace,7965 peace7965 to him that is far7350 off, and to him that is near,7138 said559 the LORD;3068 and I will heal7495 him.

20 But the wicked7563 are like the troubled1644 sea,3220 when3588 it cannot3808 3201 rest,8252 whose waters4325 cast1644 up mire7516 and dirt.2916

21 There is no369 peace,7965 said559 my God,430 to the wicked.7563

11 Но кого ты испугалась и побоялась, что сделалась неверною, и Меня не стала помнить, не принимаешь к своему сердцу? не оттого ли, что Я молчал, и притом долго, ты не стала бояться Меня?

12 Я покажу твою праведность и дела твои, и они тебе не принесут никакой пользы.

12 I will declare5046 your righteousness,6666 and your works;4639 for they shall not profit3276 you.

13 Когда ты вопиешь, пусть бы защитили тебя собрания твои; но всех их унесет ветер, развеет дуновение; а надеющийся на Меня наследует землю, и будет владеть горою святою Моею.

13 When you cry,2199 let your companies736 deliver5337 you; but the wind7307 shall carry5375 them all3605 away; vanity1892 shall take3947 them: but he that puts his trust2620 in me shall possess5157 the land,776 and shall inherit3423 my holy6944 mountain;2022

14 И сказал: возвышайте, возвышайте, равняйте дорогу, уберите препоны с пути народа Моего!

14 And shall say,559 Cast5549 you up, cast5549 you up, prepare6437 the way,1870 take7311 up the stumbling4383 block4383 out of the way1870 of my people.5971

15 Ибо так говорит Высокий и Превознесенный, вечно живущий, и Которого имя Святый: Я живу на высоте небес и во святилище, и еще близ человека теснимого и ослабевшего в духе, чтоб оживлять дух ослабевших, и оживлять сердца теснимых.

15 For thus3541 said559 the high7311 and lofty5375 One that inhabits7931 eternity,5703 whose name8034 is Holy;6918 I dwell7931 in the high4791 and holy6918 place, with him also that is of a contrite1793 and humble8217 spirit,7307 to revive2421 the spirit7307 of the humble,8217 and to revive2421 the heart3820 of the contrite1792 ones.

16 Ибо не вечно сужусь, и не бесконечно гневаюсь; когда дух от Меня изнемогает, тогда Я даю отдохновения.

16 For I will not contend7378 for ever,5769 neither3808 will I be always5331 wroth:7107 for the spirit7307 should fail5848 before6440 me, and the souls5397 which I have made.6213

17 За беззаконие корыстолюбия его Я гневался, и поражал его, сокрывал лице, и негодовал; но он, отступник, шел путем своего сердца.

17 For the iniquity5771 of his covetousness1215 was I wroth,7107 and smote5221 him: I hid5641 me, and was wroth,7107 and he went3212 on frowardly7726 in the way1870 of his heart.3820
