1 Скривился Вил, согнулся Нево {главные боги Вавилонян}, истуканы их вверены зверям и скотам; носимые вами сделались ношами, бременем для усталых животных.

2 Скривились, согнулись все; не могли защитить ноши, и сами в плен пошли.

3 Послушай Меня, дом Иаковлев, и весь остаток дома Израилева, носимые Мною от чрева, поддерживаемые от утробы матерней.

4 И до старости твоей Я Тот же буду, и до седины Я же буду носить; Я создал, Я и взял на Себя; и Я ношу, и охраняю.

5 Кому уподобите Меня, и с кем сравните, и с кем сличите, чтобы мы были сходны?

6 Высыпают золото из кошелька, и весят серебро на весах; нанимают серебряника, чтобы он сделал из него бога; кланяются ему, и повергаются пред ним.

7 На плечо поднимают его, несут его и ставят его на место свое; и он стоит, с места своего не двинется и вопиют к нему, но он не отвечает, не спасает человека от беды его.

8 Вспомните это, и образумьтесь; возьмите себе, отступники, на сердце;

9 Вспомните прежнее, от начала века, ибо Я Бог, и нет Бога другого, и нет такого как Я.

10 Последующее предвозвещаю прежде, и что еще не сделалось, наперед открываю; скажу: `определение Мое должно исполниться`, и совершаю всю волю Мою.

11 Я воззвал от востока орла {Кира}, из земли дальней человека судьбы Моей. И предсказал Я, и выполняю сие; вообразил и сделал.

12 Внемлите Мне, грубые сердцем, далекие от праведности.

13 Я приближаю правду Мою, она не далеко; и спасение Мое не замедлит; и дам на Сионе спасение, Израилю славу Мою.

2 They stoop,7164 they bow3766 down3766 together;3162 they could3201 not deliver4422 the burden,4853 but themselves5315 are gone1980 into captivity.7628

3 Listen8085 to me, O house1004 of Jacob,3290 and all3605 the remnant7611 of the house1004 of Israel,3478 which are borne6006 by me from the belly,990 which are carried5375 from the womb:7356

4 And even to your old2209 age2209 I am he; and even to hoar7872 hairs will I carry5445 you: I have made,6213 and I will bear;5375 even I will carry,5445 and will deliver4422 you.

5 To whom4310 will you liken1819 me, and make me equal,7737 and compare4911 me, that we may be like?1819

6 They lavish2107 gold2091 out of the bag,3599 and weigh8254 silver3701 in the balance,7070 and hire7936 a goldsmith;6884 and he makes6213 it a god:410 they fall5456 down,5456 yes,637 they worship.7812

7 They bear5375 him on the shoulder,3802 they carry5445 him, and set3240 him in his place,8478 and he stands;5975 from his place4725 shall he not remove:4185 yes,637 one shall cry6817 to him, yet can he not answer,6030 nor3808 save3467 him out of his trouble.6869
