|
1 I WAITED patiently for the LORD; and he turned towards me and heard my supplication. |
|
2 He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the mire of destruction, and set my feet upon a rock and established my goings. |
|
3 And he has put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God, that many shall see it and rejoice and trust in the LORD. |
|
4 Blessed is the man whose trust is in the name of the LORD, and who returns not to vanity; neither to lying conversation. |
|
5 Many are thy works which thou hast done for us, O LORD our God, and thy wonderful care for us; I have declared that they are too many to be numbered; there is no one like unto thee. |
|
6 Sacrifices and offerings thou didst not desire; but as for me, I now have understanding; burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. |
|
7 Then said I, Lo, I come; in the beginning of the en_lbp_books, it is written of me, |
|
8 I delight to do thy will, O my God; yea, thy law is within my heart. |
|
9 I have preached thy righteousness in the great congregation; lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest. |
|
10 I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation; I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation. |
|
11 Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD; let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. |
|
12 For innumerable evils have surrounded me; mine iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of my head; and my heart fails me. |
|
13 Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me; O LORD, continue to help me. |
|
14 Let them be ashamed and confounded who seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame who wish me evil. |
|
15 Let them be overthrown for their disgraceful conduct who say to me, Aha, aha! |
|
16 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee; let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified. |
|
17 But I am poor and needy; O my LORD, they have conspired against me; help me and deliver me; do not tarry, O my God. |

2 Блаже́нний, хто дбає про вбогого, — в день нещастя Господь порятує його! |
|
3 Господь берегти́ме його та його оживля́тиме, буде блаженний такий на землі, і Він не видасть його на пота́лу його ворогам! |
|
4 На ложі неду́ги подасть йому сили Госпо́дь, — усе ложе йому перемінить в неду́зі його. |
|
5 Я промовив був: „Господи, май же Ти ми́лість до мене, ви́лікуй душу мою, бо я перед Тобою згрішив! |
|
6 Вороги мої кажуть на мене лихе́: „Коли вмре та загине іме́ння його?“ |
|
7 А коли хто прихо́дить відві́дати, — мовить марне́: його серце збирає для себе лихе, і як вийде надві́р, то говорить про те. |
|
8 Всі мої вороги між собою шепо́чуться ра́зом на мене, на ме́не лихе́ замишля́ють: |
|
9 „Негі́дна річ тисне його, а що́ він поклався — то більше не встане!“ |
|
10 Навіть при́ятель мій, на якого наді́явся я, що мій хліб споживав, — підняв проти мене п'яту́! |
|
11 Але, Господи, помилуй мене, і мене підійми́, — і я їм відплачу́, — |
|
12 із то́го довідаюся, що Ти любиш мене, коли надо мною сурми́ти не буде мій ворог. |
|
13 А я — через неви́нність мою Ти підси́лиш мене, і перед обличчям Своїм ти поста́виш навіки мене́! |
|
14 Благословенний Господь, Бог Ізраїлів, від віку й до віку! Амі́нь і амі́нь! |
