Псалом 14

1 Кто может, Боже, жить в Твоём шатре священном? На Святой горе Твоей кто может обитать?

2 Только тот, чья жизнь чиста, кто делает добро и от всего сердца правду говорит.

3 Такой человек не клевещет на других, он зла не причиняет ближним и не позорит родичей своих.

4 Он презирает тех, кто ненавидит Бога, и почитает слуг Господних. Такой человек клянётся зла не делать и неизменно сдержит слово.

5 Он не для выгоды своей одалживает деньги, и против невинного он за взятку лжесвидетельства не даст. Живущий так будет всегда исполнен силы!

1 THE fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have been defiled by their own devices; there is none that does good.

2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any that did understand and seek God.

3 They are all gone astray and have been rejected all together; there is none that does good; no, not one.

4 They recognized not the workers of iniquity, who devour my people as one eats bread; and they called not upon the LORD.

5 There were they in great fear; for God is in the generation of the righteous.

1 Кто может, Боже, жить в Твоём шатре священном? На Святой горе Твоей кто может обитать?

1 THE fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have been defiled by their own devices; there is none that does good.

2 Только тот, чья жизнь чиста, кто делает добро и от всего сердца правду говорит.
