Псалом 55

1 Дирижёру хора. На мелодию «Голубь на дальнем дубе». Один из миктамов Давида, написанный в то время, когда филистимляне захватили его в Гефе.

2 Будь милосерден ко мне, Господи, так как на меня враги нападают. В течение долгого дня я бегу от преследователей моих.

3 Бесчисленны обидчики мои, они постоянно преследуют меня.

4 В минуты страха на Тебя я полагаюсь.

5 Я верю в Бога, и поэтому не стану бояться нападения врагов. Господа восхваляю я за обещания, которые Он мне дал.

6 Переиначивая все мои слова, враги мечтают нанести мне вред.

7 Они таятся и следят за мной, вступили в заговор, мечтая жизнь отобрать мою.

8 Не дай им уклониться, Боже, от гнева Твоего, и накажи народы.

9 Ты знаешь всё моё смятение и слёзы все мои наперечёт.

10 Когда зову Тебя на помощь, враги мои бегут, и я осознаю, что Бог со мной.

11 Я верю в Бога, и Его я слово восхваляю.

12 Я в Бога верую, поэтому не буду бояться того, что человек мне может причинить?

13 Я клятву дал Тебе, Господь, теперь дар благодарности Тебе представлю

14 за то, что Ты меня от смерти спас, от преткновения — мои ноги, чтобы в свете мог я служить Тебе, в свете, который виден только живым.

5 Fearfulness3374 and trembling7461 are come935 upon me, and horror6427 hath overwhelmed3680 me.
