Глава 5

1 Воспою возлюбленному моему песнь Возлюбленного моего о винограднике Его. У Возлюбленного моего был виноградник на высоте, на земле тучной.

2 И обнес Он его оградою, и очистил его от камней, и посадил в нем благородную лозу, и поставил горницу среди его, и иссек в нем точило, и надеялся, что он принесет добрые грозды, а он принес дикие ягоды.

3 И ныне, жители Иерусалима и люди Иуды, рассудите Меня с виноградником Моим.

4 Что еще надлежало бы сделать для виноградника Моего, чего Я не сделал ему? почему же Я надеялся, что он принесет добрые грозды, а он принес дикие ягоды?

5 Итак скажу вам, что Я сделаю с виноградником моим: отниму ограду его, и будет он опустошаем, разрушу стену его, и будет попираем.

6 И оставлю его невозделанным; не будут ни обрезывать, ни полоть его; и зарастет он тернием и волчцами, и облакам велю не проливать дождя на него. -

7 Так! виноградник Иеговы воинств есть дом Израилев, и люди Иуды любимый сад Его. И ждал Он правосудия, но се, кровопролитие; ждал правды, и се, стон угнетаемых. -

8 Горе вам, пристраивающие дом к дому, присовокупляющие поле к полю, так что другим не остается места, и как будто бы вы одни поселены на земле.

9 В уши мои рек Иегова воинств: многочисленные дома пусты будут, большие и красивые без жителей.

10 Ибо десять участков в винограднике дадут один бат, и хомер посеянного зерна едва принесет ефу. {Хомер самая большая мера; эфа десятая часть его. Такой будет неурожай.} -

11 Горе тем, которые рано поутру ищут сикеры, и поздно вечером разгорячают себя вином.

12 И цитра и арфа, тимпан и свирель, и вино составляют пиршества их; а на действование Иеговы не взирают, и деяния рук Его не созерцают.

13 За то народ Мой в плен пойдет непредвидимо и вельможа его будет умирать с голоду, и богача его истомит жажда.

14 За то преисподняя расширит жадный зев свой, и разинет пасть свою без меры; и сойдет туда красота земли, и богатство ее, и все, что производит шум ее, и веселится на ней.

15 И падет человек, и унизится муж, и очи гордых поникнут.

16 А Иегова воинств явит Себя великим в правосудии, и Бог Святый прославит святость Свою правдою.

17 И будут пастись агнцы по своей воле, и тучные странствующие овны будут кормиться на опустевших полях.

18 Горе тем, которые влекут на себя беду беззакониями, как бы вервями, и казнь греха, как бы ремнями колесничными;

19 Говорят: пусть бы поспешало, пусть бы скорее совершилось дело Его, посмотрели бы мы: и пусть бы приближалось, и настало предположенное советом Святого Израилева; тогда узнали бы мы.

20 Горе тем, которые называют худое добрым, и доброе худым, тьму делают светом, и свет тьмою, горькое делают сладким, а сладкое горьким.

21 Горе тем, которые в своих словах премудры, и сами пред собою разумны!

22 Горе тем, которые пить вино храбры, и сильны в искусстве приготовлять сикеру,

23 Которые за подарки оправдывают виновного, и правых лишают законного.

24 За то как солома съедается огнем и сено тлеет в пламени; так сгниет корень их и отпрыски их разлетятся в пыль; поелику они отвергли откровение Иеговы воинств, и презрели слово Святого Израилева.

25 За то воспылает гнев Иеговы в народе Его; и прострет Он руку Свою против него, и поразит его; и содрогнутся горы, и трупы их будут как помет на улицах. При всем том не укротится гнев Его, и рука Его еще простерта.

26 И поднимет знамя народам дальним, и свистнет одному до конца земли, - и вот он бежит легко и быстро.

27 Нет у него усталых, и нет изнемогающих; не дремлет и не спит, и не снимается пояс с чресл его и не рвется ремень у сандалии его.

28 Стрелы его остры, и все луки его натянуты; копыта коней его кремню подобны, и колеса его как вихрь.

29 Рев его, как у львицы; рыкает подобно скимнам; и заревет, и схватит добычу, и унесет и никто не отнимет.

30 И заревет на него в оный день ревом разъяренного моря; тогда взглянешь на землю, и се тьма, горе, и свет померк в туманах ее.

Chapter 5

1 NOW I will sing to my well-beloved a song of my beloved concerning his vineyard. My well-beloved had a vineyard on the corner of a fertile land;

2 He cultivated it and fenced it and planted it with the choicest vines, and built a watchtower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress in it; and he expected that it should bring forth grapes, but it brought forth wild grapes.

3 And now, O men of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem, judge between me and my vineyard.

4 What more could have been done to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? Wherefore, when I expected that it should bring forth grapes, it brought forth wild grapes.

5 And now I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard; I will demolish its tower, and it shall be for spoil; and break down its fence, and it shall be trodden down;

6 And I will lay it waste; it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall spring up in it briers and thorns; I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.

7 For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant; and I looked for justice, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.

8 Woe to those who trespass the boundaries between houses, who remove the landmarks between the fields, to steal the land, that they may dwell alone in the midst of the earth!

9 In my ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth, it has been heard, that many houses shall be desolate, because there will be no one to dwell in them.

10 For ten acres of vineyard shall yield but one bath, and a homer of seed shall yield but an ephah.

11 Woe to them who rise up early in the morning, and run after strong drink; that continue drinking until night, till wine inflames them!

12 They drink wine while listening to the harps, timbrels, tambourines, and flutes; but they do not regard the works of the LORD, neither consider the deeds of his hands.

13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their dead are multiplied because of the famine, and have been overcome with thirst.

14 Therefore Sheol has enlarged itself, and opened its mouth without measure: and the glorious men, the honorable men, and the mighty men shall descend into it.

15 And the mean man shall be humbled, and the mighty man shall be brought down, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:

16 But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and the Holy God shall be sanctified in righteousness.

17 Then shall the lambs feed there in their usual fashion, and the waste places that shall be rebuilt shall be the property of the rightful owners.

18 Woe to them that spin out their iniquities like a long rope, and their sins are like a bridle on the neck of a heifer;

19 Who say, Let the LORD make speed, and hasten his works, that we may see them; and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw near, and let it come, that we may know it!

20 Woe to them who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and prudent in their own sight!

22 Woe to those who are mighty to drink wine, and strong men who mix strong drink;

23 Who justify the guilty because of his bribe, and take away justice from the righteous!

24 Therefore as the fire devours the stubble and the flame consumes the chaff, so they shall be consumed by the flame, and their root shall be as dust; and their blossom shall go up like chaff, because they have rejected the law of the LORD of hosts and despised the command of the Holy One of Israel.

25 Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he has stretched forth his hand against them, and has smitten them: and the mountains trembled; and their carcasses were like mud in the streets. For all this his anger has not turned away, and his hand is stretched out still.

26 And he will lift up an ensign to the nations from afar and will whistle to them from the end of the earth; and, behold, they shall come swiftly with speed.

27 They shall not be weary nor stumble, they shall not slumber nor sleep, neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the lace of their shoes be broken;

28 Their arrows are sharp and their bows are bent, their horses' hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind.

29 Their roaring shall be like a lion, and like the young lions that roar, and take hold on the prey and carry it off; and none shall deliver it.

30 And in that day he shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea; and if they look to the land, behold, there shall be darkness and distress, and the light shall be darkened with thick darkness.

4 What more could have been done to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? Wherefore, when I expected that it should bring forth grapes, it brought forth wild grapes.

5 Итак скажу вам, что Я сделаю с виноградником моим: отниму ограду его, и будет он опустошаем, разрушу стену его, и будет попираем.

5 And now I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard; I will demolish its tower, and it shall be for spoil; and break down its fence, and it shall be trodden down;

6 И оставлю его невозделанным; не будут ни обрезывать, ни полоть его; и зарастет он тернием и волчцами, и облакам велю не проливать дождя на него. -

6 And I will lay it waste; it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall spring up in it briers and thorns; I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.

7 Так! виноградник Иеговы воинств есть дом Израилев, и люди Иуды любимый сад Его. И ждал Он правосудия, но се, кровопролитие; ждал правды, и се, стон угнетаемых. -

7 For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant; and I looked for justice, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.

8 Горе вам, пристраивающие дом к дому, присовокупляющие поле к полю, так что другим не остается места, и как будто бы вы одни поселены на земле.

8 Woe to those who trespass the boundaries between houses, who remove the landmarks between the fields, to steal the land, that they may dwell alone in the midst of the earth!

9 В уши мои рек Иегова воинств: многочисленные дома пусты будут, большие и красивые без жителей.

9 In my ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth, it has been heard, that many houses shall be desolate, because there will be no one to dwell in them.

10 Ибо десять участков в винограднике дадут один бат, и хомер посеянного зерна едва принесет ефу. {Хомер самая большая мера; эфа десятая часть его. Такой будет неурожай.} -

10 For ten acres of vineyard shall yield but one bath, and a homer of seed shall yield but an ephah.

11 Горе тем, которые рано поутру ищут сикеры, и поздно вечером разгорячают себя вином.

11 Woe to them who rise up early in the morning, and run after strong drink; that continue drinking until night, till wine inflames them!

12 И цитра и арфа, тимпан и свирель, и вино составляют пиршества их; а на действование Иеговы не взирают, и деяния рук Его не созерцают.

12 They drink wine while listening to the harps, timbrels, tambourines, and flutes; but they do not regard the works of the LORD, neither consider the deeds of his hands.

13 За то народ Мой в плен пойдет непредвидимо и вельможа его будет умирать с голоду, и богача его истомит жажда.

14 Therefore Sheol has enlarged itself, and opened its mouth without measure: and the glorious men, the honorable men, and the mighty men shall descend into it.

15 И падет человек, и унизится муж, и очи гордых поникнут.

15 And the mean man shall be humbled, and the mighty man shall be brought down, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:

16 А Иегова воинств явит Себя великим в правосудии, и Бог Святый прославит святость Свою правдою.

16 But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and the Holy God shall be sanctified in righteousness.

17 И будут пастись агнцы по своей воле, и тучные странствующие овны будут кормиться на опустевших полях.

17 Then shall the lambs feed there in their usual fashion, and the waste places that shall be rebuilt shall be the property of the rightful owners.

18 Горе тем, которые влекут на себя беду беззакониями, как бы вервями, и казнь греха, как бы ремнями колесничными;

19 Говорят: пусть бы поспешало, пусть бы скорее совершилось дело Его, посмотрели бы мы: и пусть бы приближалось, и настало предположенное советом Святого Израилева; тогда узнали бы мы.

19 Who say, Let the LORD make speed, and hasten his works, that we may see them; and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw near, and let it come, that we may know it!

20 Горе тем, которые называют худое добрым, и доброе худым, тьму делают светом, и свет тьмою, горькое делают сладким, а сладкое горьким.

20 Woe to them who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

21 Горе тем, которые в своих словах премудры, и сами пред собою разумны!

21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and prudent in their own sight!

22 Горе тем, которые пить вино храбры, и сильны в искусстве приготовлять сикеру,

22 Woe to those who are mighty to drink wine, and strong men who mix strong drink;

23 Которые за подарки оправдывают виновного, и правых лишают законного.

23 Who justify the guilty because of his bribe, and take away justice from the righteous!
