Chapter 22

1 And he showed1166 me a pure2513 river4215 of water5204 of life,2222 clear2986 as crystal,2930 proceeding1607 out of the throne2362 of God2316 and of the Lamb.721

2 In the middle3319 of the street4113 of it, and on1909 either1782 2532 side1782 of the river,4215 was there the tree3586 of life,2222 which bore4160 twelve1427 manner of fruits,2590 and yielded591 her fruit2590 every2596 month:3376 and the leaves5444 of the tree3586 were for the healing2322 of the nations.1484

3 And there shall be no3756 more2089 curse:2652 but the throne2362 of God2316 and of the Lamb721 shall be in it; and his servants1401 shall serve3000 him:

4 And they shall see3708 his face;4383 and his name3686 shall be in their foreheads.3359

5 And there shall be no3756 night3571 there;1563 and they need2192 5532 no3756 candle,3088 neither light5457 of the sun;2246 for the Lord2962 God2316 gives them light:5461 and they shall reign936 for ever165 and ever.165

6 And he said2036 to me, These3778 sayings3056 are faithful4103 and true:228 and the Lord2962 God2316 of the holy40 prophets4396 sent649 his angel32 to show1166 to his servants1401 the things which3739 must1163 shortly1722 5034 be done.1096

7 Behold,2400 I come2064 quickly:5035 blessed3107 is he that keeps5083 the sayings3056 of the prophecy4394 of this5127 book.975

8 And I John2491 saw991 these5023 things, and heard191 them. And when3753 I had heard191 and seen,991 I fell4098 down to worship4352 before1715 the feet4228 of the angel32 which3588 showed1166 me these5023 things.

9 Then2532 said3004 he to me, See3708 you do it not: for I am1510 your fellow servant,4889 and of your brothers80 the prophets,4396 and of them which keep5083 the sayings3056 of this5127 book:975 worship4352 God.2316

10 And he said3004 to me, Seal4972 not the sayings3056 of the prophecy4394 of this5127 book:975 for the time2540 is at1451 hand.1451

11 He that is unjust,91 let him be unjust91 still:2089 and he which is filthy,4510 let him be filthy4510 still:2089 and he that is righteous,1342 let him be righteous1344 still:2089 and he that is holy,40 let him be holy37 still.2089

12 And, behold,2400 I come2064 quickly;5035 and my reward3408 is with me, to give591 every1538 man according5613 as his work2041 shall be.

13 I am1510 Alpha1 and Omega,5598 the beginning746 and the end,5056 the first4413 and the last.2078

14 Blessed3107 are they that do4160 his commandments,1785 that they may have2071 right1849 to the tree3586 of life,2222 and may enter1525 in through the gates4440 into1519 the city.4172

15 For without1854 are dogs,2965 and sorcerers,5333 and fornicators,4205 and murderers,5406 and idolaters,1496 and whoever3956 3588 loves5368 and makes4160 a lie.5579

16 I Jesus2424 have sent3992 my3450 angel32 to testify3140 to you these5023 things in the churches.1577 I am1510 the root4491 and the offspring1085 of David,1138 and the bright2986 and morning3720 star.792

17 And the Spirit4151 and the bride3565 say,3004 Come.2064 And let him that hears191 say,2036 Come.2064 And let him that is thirsty1372 come.2064 And whoever3588 will,2309 let him take2902 the water5204 of life2222 freely.1432

18 For I testify4828 to every3956 man3956 that hears191 the words3056 of the prophecy4394 of this5127 book,975 If1437 any5100 man shall add2007 to these5023 things, God2316 shall add2007 to him the plagues4127 that are written1125 in this5129 book:975

19 And if1437 any5100 man shall take851 away851 from the words3056 of the book976 of this5129 prophecy,4394 God2316 shall take851 away851 his part3313 out of the book976 of life,2222 and out of the holy40 city,4172 and from the things which are written1125 in this5026 book.975

20 He which testifies3140 these5023 things said,3004 Surely3483 I come2064 quickly.5035 Amen.281 Even3483 so,3483 come,2064 Lord2962 Jesus.2424

21 The grace5485 of our Lord2962 Jesus2424 Christ5547 be with you all.3956 Amen.281

1 І показав він мені чисту ріку́ живої води, ясну́, мов кришта́ль, що випливала з престолу Бога й Агнця.

2 Посеред його вулиці, і по цей бік і по той бік ріки́ — дерево життя, що родить дванадцять раз плоди, кожного місяця прино́сячи плід свій. А листя дерев — на вздоро́влення наро́дів.

3 І жодного прокля́ття більше не бу́де. І бу́де в ньому престол Бога та Агнця, а раби Його будуть служити Йому,

4 і побачать лице Його, а Ймення Його — на їхніх чо́лах.

5 А но́чі вже більше не бу́де, і не бу́де потреби в світлі світильника, ані в світлі сонця, бо освітлює їх Господь, Бог, а вони царюватимуть вічні віки́.

6 І сказав він до мене: „Це вірні й правдиві слова, — а Госпо́дь, Бог ду́хів пророчих, послав Свого а́нгола, щоб він показав своїм рабам, що́ незаба́ром статися мусить.

7 Ото, незаба́ром прихо́джу. Блаженний, хто зберігає пророчі слова цієї книги!“

8 І я, Іван, чув і бачив оце. А коли я почув та побачив, я впав до ніг ангола, що мені це показував, щоб вклонитись йому.

9 І сказав він до мене: „Таж ні! Бо я співслуга твій і братів твоїх пророків, і тих, хто зберігає слова цієї книги. Богові вклонися!“

10 І сказав він до мене: „Не запеча́туй слів пророцтва цієї книги. Час бо близьки́й!

11 Неправедний — хай чинить неправедні́сть ще, і поганий — хай ще опога́нюється. А праведний — хай ще чинить праведність, а святий — нехай ще освячується!

12 Ото, незаба́ром прихо́джу, і зо Мною заплата Моя, щоб кожному віддати згідно з діла́ми його.

13 Я Альфа й Оме́га, Перший і Останній, Поча́ток і Кінець.

14 Блаженні, хто випере ша́ти свої, щоб мати право на дерево життя, і ввійти бра́мами в місто!

15 А поза ним будуть пси, і чарівники́, і розпу́сники, і душогуби, і ідоля́ни, і кожен, хто любить та чинить неправду.

16 Я, Ісус, послав Свого Ангола, щоб засві́дчити вам це у Церква́х. Я корінь і рід Дави́дів, зоря ясна́ і досві́тня!

17 А Дух і неві́ста говорять: „Прийди!“ А хто чує, хай каже: „Прийди!“ І хто пра́гне, хай при́йде, і хто хоче, хай воду життя бере да́рмо!“

18 Свідкую я кожному, хто чує слова пророцтва цієї книги: Коли хто до цього додасть що, то накладе́ на нього Бог кари, що написані в книзі оцій.

19 А коли хто що віді́йме від слів книги пророцтва цього, то відійме Бог частку його від дерева життя, і від міста святого, що написане в книзі оцій.

20 Той, Хто свідку́є, говорить оце: „Так, — незаба́ром прийду́!“ Амінь. Прийди, Господи Ісусе!

21 Благода́ть Господа нашого Ісуса Христа зо всіма́ вами! Амі́нь.

6 І сказав він до мене: „Це вірні й правдиві слова, — а Госпо́дь, Бог ду́хів пророчих, послав Свого а́нгола, щоб він показав своїм рабам, що́ незаба́ром статися мусить.

7 Behold,2400 I come2064 quickly:5035 blessed3107 is he that keeps5083 the sayings3056 of the prophecy4394 of this5127 book.975

7 Ото, незаба́ром прихо́джу. Блаженний, хто зберігає пророчі слова цієї книги!“

8 And I John2491 saw991 these5023 things, and heard191 them. And when3753 I had heard191 and seen,991 I fell4098 down to worship4352 before1715 the feet4228 of the angel32 which3588 showed1166 me these5023 things.

8 І я, Іван, чув і бачив оце. А коли я почув та побачив, я впав до ніг ангола, що мені це показував, щоб вклонитись йому.

10 І сказав він до мене: „Не запеча́туй слів пророцтва цієї книги. Час бо близьки́й!

11 Неправедний — хай чинить неправедні́сть ще, і поганий — хай ще опога́нюється. А праведний — хай ще чинить праведність, а святий — нехай ще освячується!

12 Ото, незаба́ром прихо́джу, і зо Мною заплата Моя, щоб кожному віддати згідно з діла́ми його.

16 Я, Ісус, послав Свого Ангола, щоб засві́дчити вам це у Церква́х. Я корінь і рід Дави́дів, зоря ясна́ і досві́тня!

17 А Дух і неві́ста говорять: „Прийди!“ А хто чує, хай каже: „Прийди!“ І хто пра́гне, хай при́йде, і хто хоче, хай воду життя бере да́рмо!“

18 Свідкую я кожному, хто чує слова пророцтва цієї книги: Коли хто до цього додасть що, то накладе́ на нього Бог кари, що написані в книзі оцій.

19 And if1437 any5100 man shall take851 away851 from the words3056 of the book976 of this5129 prophecy,4394 God2316 shall take851 away851 his part3313 out of the book976 of life,2222 and out of the holy40 city,4172 and from the things which are written1125 in this5026 book.975

19 А коли хто що віді́йме від слів книги пророцтва цього, то відійме Бог частку його від дерева життя, і від міста святого, що написане в книзі оцій.

20 He which testifies3140 these5023 things said,3004 Surely3483 I come2064 quickly.5035 Amen.281 Even3483 so,3483 come,2064 Lord2962 Jesus.2424

20 Той, Хто свідку́є, говорить оце: „Так, — незаба́ром прийду́!“ Амінь. Прийди, Господи Ісусе!
