2 Бо те́мрява землю вкрива́є, а мо́рок — наро́ди, та сяє Господь над тобою, і слава Його над тобою з'явля́ється! |
|
3 І пі́дуть наро́ди за світлом твоїм, а царі — за ясністю ся́йва твого́. |
|
4 Здійми́ свої очі навко́ло й побач: усі вони зі́брані, і до тебе ідуть; сини твої йдуть іздале́ка, а до́чок твоїх на рука́х он несуть! |
|
5 Побачиш тоді — і роз'я́снишся ти, сполохне́ться й поши́ршає серце твоє, бо зве́рнеться мо́рське бага́тство до тебе, і при́йде до тебе багатство наро́дів! |
|
6 Бе́зліч верблю́дів закриє тебе, молоді ті верблю́ди з Мідія́ну й Ефи́, — усі вони при́йдуть із Ше́ви, носитимуть золото й ла́дан та хва́ли Господні звіща́тимуть. |
|
7 Всі отари кеда́рські зберу́ться до тебе, барани́ невайо́тські послу́жать тобі, — вони пі́дуть усі на Мій ві́втар, як жертва приє́мна, і Я просла́влю дім слави Своєї! |
|
8 Хто вони, що летять, як та хмара, і немов голуби́ до своїх голубникі́в? |
|
9 Бо до Мене збираються морепла́вці, і найперше пливуть кораблі́ із Тарші́шу, щоб приве́сти синів твоїх зда́лека, з ними їхнє срібло́ та їхнє золото для Імені Господа, Бога твого, і для Святого Ізраїля, Він бо просла́вив тебе. |

10 І мури твої побуду́ють чужи́нці, а їхні царі́ тобі бу́дуть служи́ти, бо в за́палі гніву Свого́ Я був ура́зив тебе, а в Своїм уподо́банні змилуюся над тобою! |
|
11 І будуть пості́йно відкри́тими брами твої, — ані вдень, ні вночі не замкну́ться вони, щоб прино́сити до тебе бага́тство наро́дів, і їхні царі́ щоб були припрова́джені. |
|
12 Бо погинуть наро́д та те ца́рство, що не схо́чуть служити тобі, — і ці наро́ди пони́щені будуть зовсі́м! |
|
13 Слава ліва́нська прибу́де до тебе, кипари́с, сосна й бук будуть ра́зом, щоб приоздобити місце святині Моєї, і місце ніг Своїх Я пошану́ю. |
|
14 І зі́гнуті при́йдуть до тебе сини твоїх кри́вдників, і кла́нятись будуть до стіп твоїх ніг усі нена́висники, і тебе будуть кликати: Місто Господнє, Сіон Святого Ізраїлевого! |
|
15 За те, що була ти поки́нута та осору́жна, о до́чко Сіону, і через тебе ніхто не ходив, то вчиню́ тебе славою вічною, радістю з роду в рід! |
|
16 І бу́деш ти ссати молоко із наро́дів, і гру́ди царів будеш сса́ти, і пізнаєш, що Я — то Господь, твій Спаси́тель, а твій Викупи́тель — Поту́жний Яковів! |
|
17 Замість міді впрова́джу Я золото, і замість заліза впрова́джу срібло́, і замість дерева — мідь, а за́мість камі́ння — залізо, і дозо́ром твоїм зроблю мир, твоїми ж начальниками — справедливість! |
|
18 В твоїм кра́ї не буде вже чуте наси́лля, руїна й спусто́шення в ме́жах твоїх, і назве́ш свої му́ри спасі́нням, а брами свої — похвало́ю! |
|
19 Удень сонце не буде тобі вже за світло, і не буде світити тобі місяць за ся́йво, бо бу́де тобі вічним світлом Госпо́дь, а твій Бог — за окра́су твою! |
|
20 Не за́йде вже сонце твоє, і місяць твій вже не схова́ється, бо бу́де тобі вічним світлом Госпо́дь, і дні жало́би твоєї покі́нчаться! |
|
21 А наро́д твій — усі справедли́ві вони, землю вспадку́ють навіки, па́рость Моїх саджанці́в, чин Моїх рук на просла́влення! |
|
22 Цей мали́й стане тисячею, і наймолодший — наро́дом міцни́м! Я, Господь, цього ча́су оце приспішу́! |

|
1 ARISE,, shine; for your light is come, and the glory of the LORD shall rise upon you. |
|
2 Behold, darkness will cover the earth, and thick darkness the nations; but the LORD shall shine upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you. |
|
3 And the Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. |
|
4 Lift up your eyes round about and see; they all gather themselves together, they come to you; your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be nursed in cradles. |
|
5 Then you shall see, and your face shall brighten, and you shall rejoice; and your heart shall be at ease; because the riches of the sea shall be turned to you, the strength of the Gentiles shall come to you. |
|
6 A multitude of camels shall cover you, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all those from Sheba shall come; they shall bring gold and frankincense, and shall publish abroad the praises of the LORD. |
|
7 All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to you, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you; they shall come up with acceptance on my altar, and I will glorify the house of my beauty. |
|
8 Who are these that fly like clouds and like the doves to their windows? |
|
9 For the islands shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish as in former days, to bring your sons from afar, their silver and their gold with them, to the name of the LORD your God, and the Holy One of Israel, because he has glorified you. |
|
10 And the sons of foreigners shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister to you; for in my anger I smote you, but in my favor I have had mercy on you. |
|
11 Therefore your gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night, that men may bring to you the armies of the Gentiles, and their kings led captive. |
|
12 For the nation and the kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly destroyed by the sword. |
|
13 The glory of Lebanon shall come to you, the fir tree, the pine, and the cypress together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious. |
|
14 The sons also of those who oppressed you shall come bowing down to you; and all those who provoked you shall make obeisance at the soles of your feet; and they shall call you, the City of the LORD, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel. |
|
15 Whereas you have been forsaken and hated so that no man passed through you, I will make you an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations. |
|
16 You shall also gain the wealth of the Gentiles, and shall obtain the wealth of kings; and you shall know that I the LORD am your Saviour and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob. |
|
17 Instead of brass I will bring gold, and instead of iron I will bring silver, and instead of wood, brass, and instead of stones, iron; I will also make your officers peace and your rulers righteousness. |
|
18 Violence shall no more be heard in your land, nor spoil and destruction within your borders; and they shall call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise. |
|
19 The sun shall be no more your light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light to you; for the LORD shall be to you an everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended. |

|
21 ( 60:20)All of your righteous people shall inherit the land for ever; the branch of my planting, the work of my hands shall be glorified. |
|
22 ( 60:21)The smallest one shall become thousands, and the least one a strong nation; I the LORD will hasten it in its time. |

1 ARISE,, shine; for your light is come, and the glory of the LORD shall rise upon you. |
|
2 Бо те́мрява землю вкрива́є, а мо́рок — наро́ди, та сяє Господь над тобою, і слава Його над тобою з'явля́ється! |
2 Behold, darkness will cover the earth, and thick darkness the nations; but the LORD shall shine upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you. |
|
3 І пі́дуть наро́ди за світлом твоїм, а царі — за ясністю ся́йва твого́. |
3 And the Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. |
|
4 Здійми́ свої очі навко́ло й побач: усі вони зі́брані, і до тебе ідуть; сини твої йдуть іздале́ка, а до́чок твоїх на рука́х он несуть! |
4 Lift up your eyes round about and see; they all gather themselves together, they come to you; your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be nursed in cradles. |

5 Побачиш тоді — і роз'я́снишся ти, сполохне́ться й поши́ршає серце твоє, бо зве́рнеться мо́рське бага́тство до тебе, і при́йде до тебе багатство наро́дів! |
5 Then you shall see, and your face shall brighten, and you shall rejoice; and your heart shall be at ease; because the riches of the sea shall be turned to you, the strength of the Gentiles shall come to you. |

6 Бе́зліч верблю́дів закриє тебе, молоді ті верблю́ди з Мідія́ну й Ефи́, — усі вони при́йдуть із Ше́ви, носитимуть золото й ла́дан та хва́ли Господні звіща́тимуть. |
6 A multitude of camels shall cover you, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all those from Sheba shall come; they shall bring gold and frankincense, and shall publish abroad the praises of the LORD. |

15 За те, що була ти поки́нута та осору́жна, о до́чко Сіону, і через тебе ніхто не ходив, то вчиню́ тебе славою вічною, радістю з роду в рід! |
15 Whereas you have been forsaken and hated so that no man passed through you, I will make you an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations. |
|
16 І бу́деш ти ссати молоко із наро́дів, і гру́ди царів будеш сса́ти, і пізнаєш, що Я — то Господь, твій Спаси́тель, а твій Викупи́тель — Поту́жний Яковів! |
16 You shall also gain the wealth of the Gentiles, and shall obtain the wealth of kings; and you shall know that I the LORD am your Saviour and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob. |
|
17 Замість міді впрова́джу Я золото, і замість заліза впрова́джу срібло́, і замість дерева — мідь, а за́мість камі́ння — залізо, і дозо́ром твоїм зроблю мир, твоїми ж начальниками — справедливість! |
17 Instead of brass I will bring gold, and instead of iron I will bring silver, and instead of wood, brass, and instead of stones, iron; I will also make your officers peace and your rulers righteousness. |
|
18 В твоїм кра́ї не буде вже чуте наси́лля, руїна й спусто́шення в ме́жах твоїх, і назве́ш свої му́ри спасі́нням, а брами свої — похвало́ю! |
18 Violence shall no more be heard in your land, nor spoil and destruction within your borders; and they shall call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise. |
|
19 Удень сонце не буде тобі вже за світло, і не буде світити тобі місяць за ся́йво, бо бу́де тобі вічним світлом Госпо́дь, а твій Бог — за окра́су твою! |
19 The sun shall be no more your light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light to you; for the LORD shall be to you an everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended. |
|
20 Не за́йде вже сонце твоє, і місяць твій вже не схова́ється, бо бу́де тобі вічним світлом Госпо́дь, і дні жало́би твоєї покі́нчаться! |
