Псалом 149

1 Господа восхваляйте! Новую песню Ему пойте, хвалебную песнь на собрании верующих в Него.

2 Да возрадуется Израиль Создателю, да будет народ Сиона рад Царю.

3 Пусть, танцуя, восхвалят люди Бога, играя на бубнах и арфах.

4 Будучи довольным и смиренным народом Своим, Господь наградил его спасением.

5 Идущие за Ним, возрадуйтесь победе, будьте счастливы даже на ложе своём.

6 Да восхвалит Господа криками народ, да возьмут люди обоюдоострые мечи,

7 чтобы отомстить народам и наказать племена.

8 Они в кандалы закуют их царей и наденут на князей оковы.

9 Все верующие в Него по воле Господа народам отомстят и тем самым удостоены почестей будут. Восславьте Господа!

1 PRAISE the LORD. Sing to the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him; let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

3 Let them praise his name with the timbrel and psaltery; let them sing praises to him with the harps.

4 For the LORD takes pleasure in his people; he has given salvation to the poor.

5 Let the righteous become mighty in glory; let them glorify him upon their beds.

6 Let them exalt God with their throats, and with a two-edged sword in their hand,

7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the peoples,

8 To bind their kings with fetters and their nobles with chains of iron.

9 To execute upon them the judgment that is written; and give glory to all his saints. Praise the LORD.
