Глава 11

1 И произойдет отрасль от усеченного древа Иессеева, и ветвь от корней его принесет плод.

2 И почиет на нем Дух Иеговы, Дух премудрости и разума, Дух совета и мужества, Дух ведения и страха Иеговы.

3 И запах приятный обонянию Его, в страхе Иеговы; и не по взгляду очей Своих будет судить, и не по слуху ушей Своих решать дела.

4 Но будет судить бедных по правде, и дела страдальцев земли решать по истине; и жезлом уст Своих поразит землю; и духом уст Своих убиет нечестивого.

5 И будет препоясанием чресл Его правда, и препоясанием бедр Его истина.

6 Тогда волк будет жить вместе с агнцем, и барс будет лежать вместе с козлищем; и телец, и лев молодой, и бык вместе будут ходить и дитя малое будет водить их.

7 И корова с медведицею будут пастись, дети их вместе будут лежать и лев, как вол, будет питаться соломою.

8 И будет играть младенец над норою аспида, и дитя направит руку свою на пещеру змеи;

9 Не будут делать зла и вреда на всей Святой горе Моей: ибо земля будет наполнена ведением Иеговы, как водами покрыто дно морское. -

10 И будет в оный день, к корню Иесееву, который будет стоять, как знамя народов, обратятся язычники; и покоище его будет слава.

11 И будет в оный день, Господь вторично прострет руку Свою, чтобы усвоить Себе остаток народа Своего, какой останется от Ассура, и от Египта, и от Патроса, и от Хуша и от Елама, и от Сеннаара, и от Емафы, и от островов моря.

12 И поднимет знамя язычникам, и соберет разгнанных сынов Израиля, и рассеянных дщерей Иуды созовет от четырех концов земли.

13 И прекратится зависть Ефремова, и враждующие у Иуды будут истреблены. Ефрем не будет завидовать Иуде; и Иуда не будет врагом Ефрему.

14 И полетят на рамена Филистимлян к западу, совокупно разграбят сынов востока; на Едома и Моава прострут руку свою, и сыны Аммона будут послушны Им.

15 И иссушит Иегова язык моря египетского, и надвинет руку Свою на реку в кипении духа Своего, и рассечет ее на семь потоков, чтобы в сандалиях переходили ее.

16 Тогда остатку народа Его, который останется от Ассура, будет дорога, как была для Израиля, в день восхождения его из земли египетской.

Chapter 11

1 AND there shall come forth a shoot out of the stem of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots;

2 And he shall be at peace, and the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the reverence of the LORD;

3 And shall shine forth in the reverence of the LORD; and he shall not judge after that which his eyes see, neither reprove after that which his ears hear;

4 But with justice shall he judge the poor, and reprove with uprightness for the meek of the earth; and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

5 Righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his waist.

6 The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the ox shall feed together; and a little child shall lead them.

7 And the cow and the bear shall feed together; and their young ones shall grow up together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

8 And the suckling child shall play with the serpent, and the weaned child shall put his hand into the hole of the asp.

9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.

10 And on that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand as an ensign to the peoples; to him shall the Gentiles seek; and his rest shall be glorious.

11 And it shall come to pass in that day that the LORD shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people which are left from Assyria and from Egypt and from Pathros and from Ethiopia and from Elam and from Seir and from Hamath and from the islands of the sea.

12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

13 The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be destroyed; Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not oppress Ephraim.

14 But they shall fly upon the shoulder of the Philistines on the sea; they shall plunder them of the east together; they shall stretch out their hands against Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.

15 And the LORD shall utterly dry up the sea of Egypt; and with his mighty wind he shall stretch his hand over the river, and shall smite it into seven streams, so that men may cross through it dryshod.

16 And there shall be a highway for the remnant of his people which shall be left from Assyria; as it was in the day that Israel came up from the land of Egypt.
