1 Сойди и сядь на прах, девица, дщерь Вавилона; сядь на землю, будь без престола, ты дщерь Халдеев; ибо уже не будут называть тебя чувствительною и нежною.

1 Come3381 down,3381 and sit3427 in the dust,6083 O virgin1330 daughter1323 of Babylon,894 sit3427 on5921 the ground:776 there is no369 throne,3678 O daughter1323 of the Chaldeans:3778 for you shall no3808 more3254 be called7121 tender7390 and delicate.6028

2 Возьми жернова, и мели муку; сними покрывало твое, подбери подол, открой голени, переходи чрез реки.
|
2 Take3947 the millstones,7347 and grind2912 meal:7058 uncover1540 your locks,6777 make bore2834 the leg,7640 uncover1540 the thigh,7785 pass5674 over5674 the rivers.5103
|
|
3 Откроется нагота твоя и окажется стыд твой. Совершу мщение, и человек не воспрепятствует.
|
3 Your nakedness6172 shall be uncovered,1540 yes,1571 your shame2781 shall be seen:7200 I will take3947 vengeance,5359 and I will not meet6293 you as a man.120
|

4 О, Искупитель наш! имя Ему Иегова воинств, Святый Израилев. -
|
4 As for our redeemer,1350 the LORD3068 of hosts6635 is his name,8034 the Holy6918 One of Israel.3478
|
|
5 Сиди молча, и пойди во мрак, дщерь Халдеев: ибо уже не будут называть тебя госпожею царств.
|
5 Sit3427 you silent,1748 and get935 you into darkness,2822 O daughter1323 of the Chaldeans:3778 for you shall no3808 more3254 be called,7121 The lady1404 of kingdoms.4467

6 Я прогневался на народ Мой, отринул наследие Мое, и предал их в руки твои; а ты не оказала им милосердия, на старца возложила крайне тяжкое иго свое.
|
6 I was wroth7107 with my people,5971 I have polluted2490 my inheritance,5159 and given5414 them into your hand:3027 you did show7760 them no3808 mercy;7356 on the ancient2204 have you very3966 heavily3513 laid your yoke.5923

|
7 И говорила: вечно буду владычицею, а не представляла сего в уме своем, о последствии сего не думала.
|
7 And you said,559 I shall be a lady1404 for ever:5769 so5704 that you did not lay7760 these428 things to your heart,3820 neither3808 did remember2142 the latter319 end of it.
|
|
8 Но ныне выслушай сие, изнеженная, жившая беспечно, говорившая в сердце своем: `я, - и подобной мне нет еще; не буду сидеть вдовою, и не узнаю сиротства`.
|
8 Therefore hear8085 now6258 this,2063 you that are given to pleasures,5719 that dwell3427 carelessly,983 that say559 in your heart,3824 I am, and none657 else5750 beside657 me; I shall not sit3427 as a widow,490 neither3808 shall I know3045 the loss7921 of children:

9 И внезапно, в один день, придет к тебе то и другое, сиротство и вдовство; во всей полноте придет на тебя, несмотря на все твои чародеяния и на волшебства твои премногие.
|
9 But these428 two8147 things shall come935 to you in a moment7281 in one259 day,3117 the loss7921 of children, and widowhood:489 they shall come935 on you in their perfection8537 for the multitude7230 of your sorceries,3785 and for the great3966 abundance6109 of your enchantments.2267

|
10 Ибо ты надеешься на злодеяния свои, говоришь: `никто не видит меня`. Мудрость твоя и ученость твоя, она сбила тебя с пути; и ты сказала в сердце твоем: `я, и подобной мне нет еще:
|
10 For you have trusted982 in your wickedness:7451 you have said,559 None369 sees7200 me. Your wisdom2451 and your knowledge,1847 it has perverted7725 you; and you have said559 in your heart,3820 I am, and none657 else5750 beside657 me.
|
|
11 И постигнет тебя злосчастие, которого зари ты не предвидела: и нападет на тебя горе, от которого освободиться не можешь, и внезапно придет на тебя пагуба, какой ты не знала.
|
11 Therefore shall evil7451 come935 on you; you shall not know3045 from where it rises:7837 and mischief1943 shall fall5307 on you; you shall not be able3201 to put3722 it off: and desolation7722 shall come935 on you suddenly,6597 which you shall not know.3045
|
|
12 Выступи же с волшебствами своими и с множеством чародейств своих, которыми ты занималась от юности своей; может быть, пособишь себе; может быть, устоишь.
|
12 Stand5975 now4994 with your enchantments,2267 and with the multitude7230 of your sorceries,3785 wherein834 you have labored3021 from your youth;5271 if194 so be you shall be able3201 to profit,3276 if194 so be you may prevail.6206
|
|
13 Ты загружена множеством советников твоих; пусть выступят и спасут тебя те, которые рассекают небо на полосы, смотрят на звезды, предвещают в новолуния, что приключится тебе.
|
13 You are wearied3811 in the multitude7230 of your counsels.6098 Let now4994 the astrologers,1895 8064 the stargazers,2374 3556 the monthly2320 prognosticators,3045 stand5975 up, and save3467 you from these things that shall come935 on you.
|
|
14 Вот, они как солома; огонь сожег их; не избавили души своей от пламени; угля не осталось, чтобы погреться, ни огня, чтоб посидеть пред ним.
|
14 Behold,2009 they shall be as stubble;7179 the fire784 shall burn8313 them; they shall not deliver5337 themselves5315 from the power3027 of the flame:3852 there shall not be a coal1513 to warm2552 at, nor fire217 to sit3427 before5048 it.

|
15 Такими стали для тебя те, с которыми ты дела имела, с которыми вела торговлю от юности своей. Всяк побрел в свою сторону; никто не спасает тебя.
|
15 Thus3651 shall they be to you with whom834 you have labored,3021 even your merchants,5503 from your youth:5271 they shall wander8582 every376 one376 to his quarter;5676 none369 shall save3467 you.
