1 GOD stands in the congregation of angels; he judges among the angels. |
|
2 How long will you judge unjustly, and be partial to the wicked? |
|
3 Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy. |
|
4 Deliver the poor and needy out of the hand of the wicked. |
|
5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken. |
|
6 I have said, You are gods; all of you are children of the most High. |
|
7 Henceforth you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. |
|
8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations. |

2 Боже, не будь мовчазни́м, не мовчи, і не будь Ти спокійним, о Боже, — |
|
3 бо ось зашуміли Твої вороги́, а Твої ненави́сники го́лови попідійма́ли! |
|
4 Вони проти народу Твого хитрий за́дум видумують, і нара́джуються проти тих, кого Ти береже́ш! |
|
5 Вони кажуть: „Ходіть но, та знищимо їх з-між наро́дів,- і згадуватись більш не буде іме́ння Ізраїля!“ |
|
6 Бо вони одноду́шно нара́дилися, проти Тебе умови склада́ють, — |
|
7 намети Едо́ма й ізмаїльтя́н, Моа́в та агаря́ни, |
|
8 Ґева́л і Аммо́н, і Амали́к, Филисте́я з мешка́нцями Ти́ру. |

2 How long will you judge unjustly, and be partial to the wicked? |
2 Боже, не будь мовчазни́м, не мовчи, і не будь Ти спокійним, о Боже, — |
|
3 Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy. |
3 бо ось зашуміли Твої вороги́, а Твої ненави́сники го́лови попідійма́ли! |
|
4 Deliver the poor and needy out of the hand of the wicked. |
4 Вони проти народу Твого хитрий за́дум видумують, і нара́джуються проти тих, кого Ти береже́ш! |
