1 GOD stands in the congregation of angels; he judges among the angels.

2 How long will you judge unjustly, and be partial to the wicked?

3 Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy.

4 Deliver the poor and needy out of the hand of the wicked.

5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.

6 I have said, You are gods; all of you are children of the most High.

7 Henceforth you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.

2 Боже! не премолчи, не безмолвствуй, и не почивай, Боже!

3 Ибо се, враги Твои восшумели, и ненавидящие Тебя вознесли главу.

4 Против народа Твоего составили умысел, и советуются против избранных Твоих.

5 Сказали: пойдем, истребим их из числа народов, чтобы не воспоминалось более имя Израилево.

6 Единодушно приняли совет, вступили против Тебя в союз:

7 Селения Едомовы и Измаильтяне, Моав и Агаряне,

8 Геваль и Аммон и Амалик, Филистимляне с жителями Тира;
