|
1 THE unjust conceives wickedness within his heart, for there is no fear of God before his eyes. |
|
2 He is unwilling to see his sins forgiven, or to hate them. |
|
3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit; he is unwilling to do good. |
|
4 He devises mischief upon his bed; he walks in a way that is not good that he may do evil. |
|
5 O LORD, thy mercy is in heaven; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the universe. |
|
6 Thy righteouness is like the mountain of God; thy judgments are like a great deep; O LORD, thou preservest man and beast. |
|
7 How abundant is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings. |
|
8 They shall flourish with the richness of thy house; and thou shalt give them to drink of the pleasant water of thy spring. |
|
9 For with thee is the fountain of life; in thy light shall we see light. |
|
10 O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee, and thy righteousness to the upright in heart. |
|
11 Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me. |
|
12 For there the workers of iniquity will fall; they will be cast down, and will not be able to rise. |

2 бо вони, як трава, будуть скоро поко́шені, і мов та зелена били́на — пов'я́нуть! |
|
3 Надійся на Господа й добре чини, землю заме́шкуй та правди дотримуй! |
|
4 Хай Господь буде розкіш твоя, — і Він спо́внить тобі твого серця бажа́ння! |
|
5 На Господа здай доро́гу свою, і на Нього надію клади, і Він зробить, |
|
6 і Він ви́провадить, немов світло, твою справедливість, а правду твою — немов пі́вдень. |
|
7 Жди Господа мо́вчки й на Нього наді́йся, не розпалюйся гнівом на того, хто щасливою чинить дорогу свою, на люди́ну, що виконує за́думи злі. |
|
8 Повстри́майсь від гніву й покинь пересе́рдя, не розпа́люйся лютістю, щоб чини́ти лиш зло, |
|
9 бо ви́тяті будуть злочинці, а ті, хто вповає на Господа — землю вспадку́ють! |
|
10 А ще тро́хи — й не буде безбожного, і будеш дивитись на місце його — і не буде його, |
|
11 а покірні вспадку́ють землю, — і зарозкошу́ють ми́ром великим! |
|
12 Лихе замишляє безбожний на праведного, і скрего́че на нього своїми зубами, |

9 бо ви́тяті будуть злочинці, а ті, хто вповає на Господа — землю вспадку́ють! |

10 А ще тро́хи — й не буде безбожного, і будеш дивитись на місце його — і не буде його, |
|

11 а покірні вспадку́ють землю, — і зарозкошу́ють ми́ром великим! |
