Psalm 36

1 THE unjust conceives wickedness within his heart, for there is no fear of God before his eyes.

2 He is unwilling to see his sins forgiven, or to hate them.

3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit; he is unwilling to do good.

4 He devises mischief upon his bed; he walks in a way that is not good that he may do evil.

5 O LORD, thy mercy is in heaven; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the universe.

6 Thy righteouness is like the mountain of God; thy judgments are like a great deep; O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.

7 How abundant is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings.

8 They shall flourish with the richness of thy house; and thou shalt give them to drink of the pleasant water of thy spring.

9 For with thee is the fountain of life; in thy light shall we see light.

10 O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee, and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

11 Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.

12 For there the workers of iniquity will fall; they will be cast down, and will not be able to rise.

3 Sie7919 schmücken sich2308 untereinander selbst, daß6310 sie ihre böse205 Sache1697 fördern und3190 andere verunglimpfen.

4 Alle ihre Lehre ist schädlich und erlogen; sie3320 lassen sich auch nicht3988 weisen, daß sie1870 Gutes2896 täten,

5 sondern sie trachten auf ihrem Lager nach Schaden und3068 stehen fest auf dem bösen Wege und scheuen kein Arges.

6 HErr3068, deine Güte reicht, soweit der410 Himmel ist, und deine Wahrheit, soweit die Wolken gehen.

7 Deine Gerechtigkeit stehet wie die Berge Gottes430 und1121 dein Recht wie große Tiefe. HErr, du2617 hilfst Menschen120 und3671 Vieh.

8 Wie teuer ist deine Güte, GOtt, daß Menschenkinder unter dem Schatten deiner Flügel trauen!

9 Sie werden7200 trunken von den reichen Gütern deines Hauses, und du tränkest sie mit Wollust als mit einem Strom.

10 Denn bei dir ist3045 die3820 lebendige Quelle, und in deinem Licht sehen wir das Licht.

11 Breite deine Güte über die3027, die dich kennen, und7272 deine Gerechtigkeit über die Frommen.
