Psalm 112

1 PRAISE the LORD. Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who is vigilant in his commandments.

2 His descendants shall be mighty upon earth; he shall be blessed in the generation of the upright.

3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house; and his righteousness endures for ever.

4 To the upright there shines a light in the darkness; he is gracious and full of compassion upon the righteous.

5 Blessed is the man who shows mercy and lends; he shall proclaim his words with judgment.

6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever; the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

8 His heart is strengthened; he shall not be afraid, until he sees his desire upon his enemies.

9 He has given generously, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures for ever and ever; his horn shall be exalted with honor.

10 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash his teeth and be confounded; the desire of the wicked shall perish.

1 Господа восхваляйте! Восхваляйте Господа, слуги Его, имя Его восхваляйте!

2 Да будет благословенно имя Господнее сегодня и во веки веков.

3 Да будет восславлено имя Господнее во всех краях земли: с запада до востока.

4 Господь над народами вознесён, и выше небес восходит Его слава.

5 Кто подобен Господу, Богу нашему, так высоко сидящему на небесах,

6 Которому вниз приходится смотреть, чтобы увидеть небеса и землю?

7 Бедного Он поднимает из грязи, обездоленного — из нищеты,

8 и властью Бог их облачает.

9 Бесплодную женщину в доме её Он одаривает материнством. Господа восхваляйте!
