|
1 YOU also, O Son of man, take a brick and lay it before you, and draw upon it the outline of the city of Jerusalem; |
|
2 And lay siege against it, and build forts against it, and cast a mount against it; and set some camps also against it, and set battering rams against it round about. |
|
3 Moreover take an iron pan, and set it for an iron wall between you and the city; and set your face against it, and it shall be besieged, and you shall lay siege against it. This is a sign to the house of Israel. |
|
4 Then lie upon your left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon that side; according to the number of days that you shall lie upon it, you shall bear their iniquity. |
|
5 For I have given you two tasks of iniquities, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days; so shall you bear the iniquity of the house of Israel. |
|
6 And when you have completed them, you shall lie again on your right side, and you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days; I have appointed you each day for a year. |
|
7 Therefore you shall set your face towards the siege of Jerusalem, and your arm shall prevail, and you shall prophesy against it. |
|
8 And behold, I have laid chains upon you, and you shall not turn from one side to another until you have completed the days of your siege. |
|
9 And take for yourself wheat and barley, beans and lentils, millet and rye, and put them in one vessel, and make for yourself bread of them; according to the number of days that you shall lie upon your side, three hundred and ninety days, you shall eat of it. |
|
10 And your food which you shall eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day; from time to time you shall eat it. |
|
11 And you shall drink water by measure, a sixth part of a hin; from time to time shall you drink. |
|
12 And you shall eat it as if you ate barley cakes, having baked it in their sight with the dung that comes out of men. |
|
13 And the LORD said, Thus shall the children of Israel eat their bread unclean among the Gentiles, whither I shall drive them. |
|
14 Then said I, Ah LORD God! behold, I have never defiled myself; and from my youth up even till now I have not eaten of that which dies of itself or is torn in pieces by wild beasts; neither has unclean meat entered into my mouth. |
|
15 Then he said to me, Lo, I have given you oxen's dung instead of men's dung, that you shall bake your bread with it. |
|
16 Moreover, he said to me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem; and they shall eat bread by weight; and when thirsty, they shall drink water by measure; |
|
17 And they shall lack bread and water, and they shall perish one with another, and shall be consumed in their iniquity. |

2 А потом изобрази осаду: устрой осадные сооружения, насыпь вал, разбей лагерь и расставь вокруг стенобитные орудия. |
|
3 Возьми железный лист и поставь его между собой и изображением города, словно железную стену, а сам повернись лицом к нему: вот он будто бы осажден, а ты — его осаждаешь. Всё это будет знамением для народа Израилева. |

5 Я назначил тебе столько дней, сколько лет они грешили: триста девяносто дней ты будешь нести наказание рода Израилева. |
|
6 А когда они истекут, ложись на правый бок. Сорок дней ты будешь нести наказание рода Иудина — день за год, как Я и определил это для тебя. |
|
7 Повернувшись лицом к осажденному Иерусалиму, подними оголенную руку и пророчествуй против него! |
|
8 И ты увидишь, как Я веревками свяжу тебя, и ты не повернешься с боку на бок, пока не закончится время твоей осады. |
|
9 |
|
10 Пищу себе отмеряй по двадцать шекелей в день и ешь лишь в определенное время. |
|
11 И воду пей строго отмеряя шестую часть гина, — и пей лишь в определенное время. |
|
12 Есть эти хлебы ты будешь, как ячменные лепешки, и печь их будешь на человеческом кале у всех на виду». |
|
13 И сказал ГОСПОДЬ: «Так и сыны Израилевы будут есть оскверненный хлеб средь народов, куда Я их изгоню». |
|
14 Я ответил: «О Владыка ГОСПОДИ! Я никогда не осквернял себя, не ел ни мертвечины, ни растерзанного зверем. Отроду я не ел мяса, которое считается нечистым!» |
|
15 Тогда Он сказал мне: «Хорошо, Я позволю тебе вместо человеческого кала брать коровий навоз, на нем ты будешь печь себе хлеб». |

|
17 потому что не будет хватать им ни хлеба, ни воды. Все они до единого оцепенеют от ужаса, исчахнут за свои беззакония! |

16 Moreover, he said to me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem; and they shall eat bread by weight; and when thirsty, they shall drink water by measure; |

17 And they shall lack bread and water, and they shall perish one with another, and shall be consumed in their iniquity. |
17 потому что не будет хватать им ни хлеба, ни воды. Все они до единого оцепенеют от ужаса, исчахнут за свои беззакония! |
