1 MOREOVER the word of the LORD came to me, saying, |
|
2 Son of man, set your face against mount Seir and prophesy against it, |
|
3 And say to it, Thus says the LORD God: Behold, I am against you, O mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you desolate and waste. |
|
4 And I will lay your cities waste, and you shall be desolate, and you shall know that I am the LORD. |
|
5 Because you have had a perpetual enmity and delivered the children of Israel over to the sword at the time of their calamity, at the time when their iniquity had come to an end, |
|
6 Therefore, as I live, says the LORD God, I will deliver you to the slaughter, and blood shall pursue you; the blood which you have hated, that very blood shall pursue you. |
|
7 I will make mount Seir waste and desolate, and destroy from it him that goes out and him that comes in. |
|
8 And I will fill his mountains with his slain; on your crags and on your hills and in your valleys shall they fall that are slain with the sword. |
|
9 I will make you a perpetual desolation, and your cities shall not be inhabited; and you shall know that I am the LORD. |
|
10 Because you have said, These two nations and these two kingdoms are mine, and we will possess them, though the LORD was there; |
|
11 Therefore, as I live, says the LORD God, I will do to you according to your own anger and according to your enmity which you showed toward them, and hatred to them; and I will make myself known among them when I have judged you. |
|
12 And you shall know that I am the LORD and that I have heard all your blasphemies which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume. |
|
13 Thus you dared to speak against me with your mouth, and have multiplied your words against me; I heard them. |
|
14 Thus says the LORD God to mount Seir which is situated at the happiest place on the earth: I will make you desolate. |
|
15 As you rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel because it was desolate, so will I do to you; you shall be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Edom, even all of it; and they shall know that I am the LORD. |

2 „Сину лю́дський, зверни своє обличчя до гори Сеї́р, і пророкуй на неї |
|
3 та й скажеш їй: Так говорить Господь Бог: Ось Я на тебе, го́ро Сеїре, і ви́тягну руку Свою на тебе, й оберну́ тебе на спусто́шення та на сплюндрува́ння. |
|
4 Міста твої оберну́ на руїну, а ти будеш спусто́шенням, і пізнаєте ви, що Я — Госпо́дь! |
|
5 За те, що ти маєш вічну ворожне́чу, і валила Ізраїлевих синів через меча в часі їхнього нещастя, в часі загибелі кінце́вої, |
|
6 тому́ — як живий Я, — говорить Господь Бог, — на кров оберну́ тебе, і кров буде гнати тебе. Отож кров ти знена́виділа, то кров буде гнати тебе! |
|
7 Оберну́ Я го́ру Сеїр на спусто́шення та на сплюндрува́ння, і ви́тну з неї того́, хто йде та верта́ється. |
|
8 І напо́вню його го́ри тру́пами його́! Згір'я твої й долини твої та всі твої рі́чища, — побиті мечем попа́дають у них! |
|
9 На вічні руїни оберну́ Я тебе́, а міста́ твої не засе́ляться, і пізнаєте ви, що Я — Госпо́дь! |
|
10 За те, що ти кажеш: „Два ці наро́ди, і два ці кра́ї будуть мої, і ми пося́демо те, де Господь був“, |
|
11 тому́, — як живий Я, — говорить Господь Бог, — зроблю́ Я за гнівом твоїм та за за́здрістю твоєю, які ти робив із своєї нена́висти до них, і вони пізна́ють Мене, коли буду судити тебе. |
|
12 І пізнаєш ти, що Я — Господь, чув усі обра́зи твої, які ти казав на Ізраїлеві го́ри, говорячи: „Вони опустоші́лі, да́ні нам на ї́жу!“ |
|
13 І ви велича́лися проти Мене своїми устами, і збі́льшували проти Мене слова́ свої, — Я це чув! |
|
14 Так говорить Господь Бог: Коли буде радіти вся земля, тоді вчиню́ її тобі спусто́шенням! |
|
15 Як радієш ти зо спа́дку Ізраїлевого дому через те, що опустоші́ло воно, так зроблю́ Я й тобі. Спусто́шенням станеш, го́ро Сеїре, та ввесь Едо́м, увесь він, і пізнають вони, що Я — Госпо́дь!“ |

3 та й скажеш їй: Так говорить Господь Бог: Ось Я на тебе, го́ро Сеїре, і ви́тягну руку Свою на тебе, й оберну́ тебе на спусто́шення та на сплюндрува́ння. |

4 Міста твої оберну́ на руїну, а ти будеш спусто́шенням, і пізнаєте ви, що Я — Госпо́дь! |

6 тому́ — як живий Я, — говорить Господь Бог, — на кров оберну́ тебе, і кров буде гнати тебе. Отож кров ти знена́виділа, то кров буде гнати тебе! |

7 Оберну́ Я го́ру Сеїр на спусто́шення та на сплюндрува́ння, і ви́тну з неї того́, хто йде та верта́ється. |

8 І напо́вню його го́ри тру́пами його́! Згір'я твої й долини твої та всі твої рі́чища, — побиті мечем попа́дають у них! |

10 За те, що ти кажеш: „Два ці наро́ди, і два ці кра́ї будуть мої, і ми пося́демо те, де Господь був“, |

11 тому́, — як живий Я, — говорить Господь Бог, — зроблю́ Я за гнівом твоїм та за за́здрістю твоєю, які ти робив із своєї нена́висти до них, і вони пізна́ють Мене, коли буду судити тебе. |

12 And you shall know that I am the LORD and that I have heard all your blasphemies which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume. |
12 І пізнаєш ти, що Я — Господь, чув усі обра́зи твої, які ти казав на Ізраїлеві го́ри, говорячи: „Вони опустоші́лі, да́ні нам на ї́жу!“ |

13 Thus you dared to speak against me with your mouth, and have multiplied your words against me; I heard them. |
13 І ви велича́лися проти Мене своїми устами, і збі́льшували проти Мене слова́ свої, — Я це чув! |
|
14 Thus says the LORD God to mount Seir which is situated at the happiest place on the earth: I will make you desolate. |
14 Так говорить Господь Бог: Коли буде радіти вся земля, тоді вчиню́ її тобі спусто́шенням! |
|
15 As you rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel because it was desolate, so will I do to you; you shall be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Edom, even all of it; and they shall know that I am the LORD. |
15 Як радієш ти зо спа́дку Ізраїлевого дому через те, що опустоші́ло воно, так зроблю́ Я й тобі. Спусто́шенням станеш, го́ро Сеїре, та ввесь Едо́м, увесь він, і пізнають вони, що Я — Госпо́дь!“ |
