Psalm 118

1 O GIVE thanks to the LORD; for he is good and his mercy endures for ever.

2 Let Israel now say that his mercy endures for ever.

3 Let the house of Aaron now say that his mercy endures for ever.

4 Let them that worship the LORD say that his mercy endures for ever.

5 Out of my distress I called upon the LORD; the LORD answered me and relieved me.

6 The LORD is my help, I will not fear; what can man do to me?

7 The LORD is my helper; therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.

8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

10 All nations surrounded me; but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

11 They surrounded me; yea, they surrounded me; but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

12 They surrounded me like hornets; they are quenched like the fire of stubble; for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

13 I have been repelled that I might be overthrown and fall; but the LORD helped me.

14 The LORD is my strength and song, and has become my salvation.

15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous; the right hand of the LORD does valiantly.

16 The right hand of the LORD has exalted me; the right hand of the LORD does valiantly.

17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

18 The LORD has chastened me severely; but he has not given me over to death.

19 Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD.

20 This is the gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.

21 I will give thanks to thee; for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.

22 The stone which the builders rejected has become the headstone of the corner.

23 This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.

24 This is the day which the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

25 Save me, O LORD; O LORD, deliver me.

26 Blessed be he that comes in the name of the LORD; we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.

27 O LORD, our God, enlighten us; bind our festival processions as an unbroken chain, even to the horns of the altar.

28 Thou art my God, and I will give thanks to thee; thou art my God, I will exalt thee.

29 O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his mercy endures for ever.

Псалом 118

1 Блаженны те, чьи пути по жизни непорочны, кто по законам Господа живёт.

2 Блаженны те, кто Его всем сердцем ищет, кто следует учению Его.

3 Эти люди следуют заветам Бога, не причиняя зла другим.

4 Ты дал нам, Господи, Свои заветы, и мы должны их свято соблюдать.

5 И если я Твоим законам подчинюсь, Твоим последую велениям,

6 тогда не будет стыдно мне, я Твои узнаю повеления.

7 Тогда, Твою изведав праведность и доброту, воистину Тебя я восхвалю.

8 Законам Твоим я подчинюсь, Господи, прошу, не покинь меня!

9 Как молодой человек может жить непорочно? Только следуя слову Твоему.

10 Я пытаюсь служить Тебе всем сердцем моим, помоги мне Твои наставления исполнять.

11 Я внимательно изучаю Твои заветы, чтобы против Тебя не согрешить.

12 Господи, будешь Ты восхвалён, научи меня жить по законам Твоим.

13 Всё, чему учишь Ты, я людям передам.

14 Как люди рады богатству, так я рад следовать повелениям Твоим.

15 Обдумываю правила Твои, путями следую Твоими.

16 Наслаждаюсь Твоими законами, мне слов Твоих не позабыть.

17 Будь добр ко мне, Твоему слуге, и тогда я смогу жить, следуя Твоим велениям.

18 Господь, открой мне глаза, позволь заглянуть в учение Твоё и увидеть, как оно прекрасно.

19 Я — всего лишь странник на земле, так не прячь от меня Твоих учений.

20 Душа моя полна желанием Твои законы постоянно изучать.

21 Ты гневаешься на гордецов, на них лежит проклятье, они Твоим не подчинились повелениям.

22 Не допусти, чтобы позор я испытал, ведь следую я во всём Твоим заветам.

23 Пускай правители все вместе злословят обо мне, но я — Твой слуга, я чту Твои законы.

24 Они как наслаждение для меня, я нахожу в них помощь и советы.

25 Господи, смерть моя близка, одним лишь словом жизнь мою продли!

26 Я рассказал о жизни моей, и Ты ответил, так научи сейчас Твоим законам.

27 Помоги понять Твои заветы, чтобы мог я думать об учениях Твоих.

28 Скорбью душа моя истощена, так словом Твоим укрепи меня.

29 Не дай пойти мне по дороге лжи, учением Своим веди меня.

3 Let the house of Aaron now say that his mercy endures for ever.	3 Эти люди следуют заветам Бога, не причиняя зла другим.
4 Let them that worship the LORD say that his mercy endures for ever.	4 Ты дал нам, Господи, Свои заветы, и мы должны их свято соблюдать.
5 Out of my distress I called upon the LORD; the LORD answered me and relieved me.	5 И если я Твоим законам подчинюсь, Твоим последую велениям,
6 The LORD is my help, I will not fear; what can man do to me?	6 тогда не будет стыдно мне, я Твои узнаю повеления.
7 The LORD is my helper; therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.	7 Тогда, Твою изведав праведность и доброту, воистину Тебя я восхвалю.
8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.	8 Законам Твоим я подчинюсь, Господи, прошу, не покинь меня!
9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.	9 Как молодой человек может жить непорочно? Только следуя слову Твоему.
10 All nations surrounded me; but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.	10 Я пытаюсь служить Тебе всем сердцем моим, помоги мне Твои наставления исполнять.
11 They surrounded me; yea, they surrounded me; but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.	11 Я внимательно изучаю Твои заветы, чтобы против Тебя не согрешить.
12 They surrounded me like hornets; they are quenched like the fire of stubble; for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.	12 Господи, будешь Ты восхвалён, научи меня жить по законам Твоим.

15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous; the right hand of the LORD does valiantly.	15 Обдумываю правила Твои, путями следую Твоими.
16 The right hand of the LORD has exalted me; the right hand of the LORD does valiantly.	16 Наслаждаюсь Твоими законами, мне слов Твоих не позабыть.
17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.	17 Будь добр ко мне, Твоему слуге, и тогда я смогу жить, следуя Твоим велениям.
18 The LORD has chastened me severely; but he has not given me over to death.	18 Господь, открой мне глаза, позволь заглянуть в учение Твоё и увидеть, как оно прекрасно.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD.	19 Я — всего лишь странник на земле, так не прячь от меня Твоих учений.
20 This is the gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.	20 Душа моя полна желанием Твои законы постоянно изучать.
21 I will give thanks to thee; for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.	21 Ты гневаешься на гордецов, на них лежит проклятье, они Твоим не подчинились повелениям.

24 This is the day which the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.	24 Они как наслаждение для меня, я нахожу в них помощь и советы.
25 Save me, O LORD; O LORD, deliver me.	25 Господи, смерть моя близка, одним лишь словом жизнь мою продли!
26 Blessed be he that comes in the name of the LORD; we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.	26 Я рассказал о жизни моей, и Ты ответил, так научи сейчас Твоим законам.
