Psalm 105

1 O GIVE thanks to the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.

2 Sing to him, sing psalms to him, talk of all his wondrous works.

3 Glory in his holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

4 Seek the LORD, and be strong, seek his face evermore.

5 Remember his marvellous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,

6 O you descendants of Abraham his servant, you children of Jacob his chosen.

7 He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.

8 He has remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.

9 For he made his covenant with Abraham, and his oaths to Isaac;

10 And confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

11 Saying, To you will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance,

12 When they were but a few men in number, yea, very few, and strangers in it.

13 When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;

14 He suffered no man to do them wrong; yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,

15 That they might touch not his anointed, and do his prophets no harm.

16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land; he broke the whole stalk of their wheat.

17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant,

18 Whose feet they bound with fetters; he was laid in iron

19 Until the time that his word came; the word of the LORD tried him.

20 The king sent and released him, and made him a ruler over his people.

21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler over all his possessions,

22 To discipline the governors at his pleasure and to teach the elders wisdom.

23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.

24 And he increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their enemies.

25 He turned their hearts to hate his people, to deal subtly with his servants.

26 He sent Moses his servant, and Aaron whom he had chosen.

27 They showed his signs among them and wonders in the land of Ham.

28 He sent darkness, and made it dark; and yet they rebelled against his word.

29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.

30 Their land swarmed with frogs, even in the inner chambers of their kings.

31 He spoke, and there came different sorts of flies and lice in all their borders.

32 He turned their rain into hail; and brought flaming fire into their land.

33 He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and broke the trees within their borders.

34 He spoke and the locusts came and caterpillars, and that without numbers throughout their land.

35 And they devoured all the herbs and the fruit of their lands.

36 He smote also all the first-born of Egypt, the first-born of all their boys.

37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold; and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.

38 Egypt was glad when they departed; for the fear of them fell upon them.

39 He spread a cloud to shade them, and fire to give light in the night.

40 The people asked, and he brought quails and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.

41 He opened the rock and the waters gushed out; and water flowed in the dry land.

42 For he remembered his holy promise which he had given to Abraham his servant.

43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his young men with gladness,

44 And gave them the lands of the Gentiles; and they inherited the labor of the people.

45 That they might observe his statutes and keep his laws. Praise the LORD.

Псалом 105

1 Аллилуйя! [1] Славьте Господа, потому что Он благ и милость Его навеки!

2 Кто выразит могущество Господа и возвестит всю Его славу?

3 Блаженны те, кто хранит правосудие и вершит праведные дела во все времена!

4 Вспомни меня, Господи, во время благоволения к Своему народу, помоги и мне, когда будешь спасать их,

5 чтобы я увидел благополучие Твоих избранных, возвеселился вместе с Твоим народом и хвалился — с Твоим наследием.

6 Мы согрешили, как и наши предки, совершили беззаконие, поступили нечестиво.

7 Отцы наши не поняли Твоих чудес в Египте, забыли обилие Твоей милости и возмутились у моря, у Красного моря.

8 Он все же спас их ради Своего имени, чтобы показать Свое могущество.

9 Он приказал Красному морю, и оно высохло, и провел Он их через его глубины, как по пустыне.

10 Спас их от рук ненавидящего их, избавил их от руки врага.

11 Воды покрыли противников их, не осталось ни одного.

12 Тогда поверили они Его словам и воспели Ему хвалу.

13 Но вскоре забыли Его дела, не ждали Его совета.

14 Возгорелись страстным желанием в пустыне и испытывали Бога в необитаемой местности.

15 Он дал им желаемое, но наслал на них истощение.

16 Они позавидовали Моисею в лагере и Аарону, святому Господню.

17 Земля разверзлась и поглотила Датана и все скопище Авирама.

18 Возгорелся огонь посреди них, и пламя сожгло нечестивых.

19 Они сделали изваяние тельца в Хориве и поклонились истукану,

20 променяли свою Славу на изображение быка, питающегося травой.

21 Забыли Бога, своего Спасителя, сотворившего великие дела в Египте,

22 чудеса в земле Хама и устрашающие дела у Красного моря.

23 Поэтому Он сказал, что погубил бы их, если бы Моисей, избранный Его, не встал перед Ним в расселине, чтобы отвратить Его ярость, чтобы Он не погубил их.

24 И пренебрегли они землей желанной, не поверили Его обещанию,

25 роптали в своих шатрах и не слушались голоса Господа.

26 Поэтому Он поклялся с поднятой рукой, что поразит их в пустыне,

27 а также их потомков среди народов, и рассеет их по землям.

28 Они присоединились к Баал-Пеору и ели жертвы, принесенные бездушным.

29 Раздражали Его своими делами, и разразился среди них мор.

30 Но поднялся Пинехас, произвел суд, и мор прекратился,

31 Это вменилось в праведность ему из поколения в поколение, навсегда.

32 Еще они прогневали Его у вод Меривы, и Моисей был наказан из-за них,

33 потому что они возмутили его дух, и он погрешил своими устами.

34 Не уничтожили они народы, о которых сказал им Господь,

35 а смешались с язычниками и научились их делам;

36 служили их идолам, которые стали для них сетью.

37 Приносили демонам в жертву своих сыновей и дочерей;

38 проливали невинную кровь, кровь своих сыновей и дочерей, которых жертвовали ханаанским идолам, и земля осквернилась кровью.

39 Они оскверняли себя своими делами, прелюбодействовали своими поступками.

40 Поэтому возгорелся гнев Господень на Его народ, и возгнушался Он Своим наследием.

41 Он отдал их в руки чужеземцев, и ненавидящие Израиль властвовали над ними.

42 Враги притесняли их, и они смирились под их рукой.

43 Много раз Он избавлял их, но они гневили Его своим упрямством и были унижены в своем беззаконии.

44 Все же Он обращал внимание на их скорбь, когда слышал их вопль,

45 вспоминал о Своем завете с ними и смягчался по Своей великой милости.

1 O GIVE thanks to the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.	1 Аллилуйя! [1] Славьте Господа, потому что Он благ и милость Его навеки!
2 Sing to him, sing psalms to him, talk of all his wondrous works.	2 Кто выразит могущество Господа и возвестит всю Его славу?
3 Glory in his holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.	3 Блаженны те, кто хранит правосудие и вершит праведные дела во все времена!
4 Seek the LORD, and be strong, seek his face evermore.	4 Вспомни меня, Господи, во время благоволения к Своему народу, помоги и мне, когда будешь спасать их,
5 Remember his marvellous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,	5 чтобы я увидел благополучие Твоих избранных, возвеселился вместе с Твоим народом и хвалился — с Твоим наследием.
6 O you descendants of Abraham his servant, you children of Jacob his chosen.	6 Мы согрешили, как и наши предки, совершили беззаконие, поступили нечестиво.
7 He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.	7 Отцы наши не поняли Твоих чудес в Египте, забыли обилие Твоей милости и возмутились у моря, у Красного моря.

18 Whose feet they bound with fetters; he was laid in iron	18 Возгорелся огонь посреди них, и пламя сожгло нечестивых.
19 Until the time that his word came; the word of the LORD tried him.	19 Они сделали изваяние тельца в Хориве и поклонились истукану,
20 The king sent and released him, and made him a ruler over his people.	20 променяли свою Славу на изображение быка, питающегося травой.
21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler over all his possessions,	21 Забыли Бога, своего Спасителя, сотворившего великие дела в Египте,
22 To discipline the governors at his pleasure and to teach the elders wisdom.	22 чудеса в земле Хама и устрашающие дела у Красного моря.
23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.	23 Поэтому Он сказал, что погубил бы их, если бы Моисей, избранный Его, не встал перед Ним в расселине, чтобы отвратить Его ярость, чтобы Он не погубил их.

35 And they devoured all the herbs and the fruit of their lands.	35 а смешались с язычниками и научились их делам;
36 He smote also all the first-born of Egypt, the first-born of all their boys.	36 служили их идолам, которые стали для них сетью.
37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold; and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.	37 Приносили демонам в жертву своих сыновей и дочерей;
38 Egypt was glad when they departed; for the fear of them fell upon them.	38 проливали невинную кровь, кровь своих сыновей и дочерей, которых жертвовали ханаанским идолам, и земля осквернилась кровью.
39 He spread a cloud to shade them, and fire to give light in the night.	39 Они оскверняли себя своими делами, прелюбодействовали своими поступками.
40 The people asked, and he brought quails and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.	40 Поэтому возгорелся гнев Господень на Его народ, и возгнушался Он Своим наследием.
41 He opened the rock and the waters gushed out; and water flowed in the dry land.	41 Он отдал их в руки чужеземцев, и ненавидящие Израиль властвовали над ними.
42 For he remembered his holy promise which he had given to Abraham his servant.	42 Враги притесняли их, и они смирились под их рукой.
43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his young men with gladness,	43 Много раз Он избавлял их, но они гневили Его своим упрямством и были унижены в своем беззаконии.
44 And gave them the lands of the Gentiles; and they inherited the labor of the people.	44 Все же Он обращал внимание на их скорбь, когда слышал их вопль,
45 That they might observe his statutes and keep his laws. Praise the LORD.	45 вспоминал о Своем завете с ними и смягчался по Своей великой милости.
