Psalm 105

1 O GIVE thanks to the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.

2 Sing to him, sing psalms to him, talk of all his wondrous works.

3 Glory in his holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

4 Seek the LORD, and be strong, seek his face evermore.

5 Remember his marvellous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,

6 O you descendants of Abraham his servant, you children of Jacob his chosen.

7 He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.

8 He has remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.

9 For he made his covenant with Abraham, and his oaths to Isaac;

10 And confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

11 Saying, To you will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance,

12 When they were but a few men in number, yea, very few, and strangers in it.

13 When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;

14 He suffered no man to do them wrong; yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,

15 That they might touch not his anointed, and do his prophets no harm.

16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land; he broke the whole stalk of their wheat.

17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant,

18 Whose feet they bound with fetters; he was laid in iron

19 Until the time that his word came; the word of the LORD tried him.

20 The king sent and released him, and made him a ruler over his people.

21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler over all his possessions,

22 To discipline the governors at his pleasure and to teach the elders wisdom.

23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.

24 And he increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their enemies.

25 He turned their hearts to hate his people, to deal subtly with his servants.

26 He sent Moses his servant, and Aaron whom he had chosen.

27 They showed his signs among them and wonders in the land of Ham.

28 He sent darkness, and made it dark; and yet they rebelled against his word.

29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.

30 Their land swarmed with frogs, even in the inner chambers of their kings.

31 He spoke, and there came different sorts of flies and lice in all their borders.

32 He turned their rain into hail; and brought flaming fire into their land.

33 He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and broke the trees within their borders.

34 He spoke and the locusts came and caterpillars, and that without numbers throughout their land.

35 And they devoured all the herbs and the fruit of their lands.

36 He smote also all the first-born of Egypt, the first-born of all their boys.

37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold; and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.

38 Egypt was glad when they departed; for the fear of them fell upon them.

39 He spread a cloud to shade them, and fire to give light in the night.

40 The people asked, and he brought quails and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.

41 He opened the rock and the waters gushed out; and water flowed in the dry land.

42 For he remembered his holy promise which he had given to Abraham his servant.

43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his young men with gladness,

44 And gave them the lands of the Gentiles; and they inherited the labor of the people.

45 That they might observe his statutes and keep his laws. Praise the LORD.

Псалом 105

1 Аллилуйя. Славьте Господа, ибо Он благ; ибо милость Его вечна.

2 Кто изъяснит могущество Господа? Кто изобразит всю славу Его?

3 Блаженны хранящие истину и поступающие по правде во всякое время!

4 Вспомни о мне, Господи, по Своему благоволению к народу Твоему; посети меня спасением Твоим,

5 Дабы мне видеть благоденствие избранных Твоих, возвеселиться среди веселия народа Твоего, хвалиться вместе с наследием Твоим.

6 Согрешили мы с отцами нашими, сделались виновными, преступниками.

7 Отцы наши в Египте не уразумели чудес Твоих, не помнили великих Твоих милостей, и роптали у моря, у чермного моря.

8 Но Он спас их ради имени Своего, дабы показать могущество Свое.

9 Грозно рек морю чермному, и оно иссохло; и провел их бездною, как пустынею;

10 И спас их от руки ненавидящего, и защитил их от руки врага.

11 Воды покрыли врагов их, ни одного из них не осталось.

12 Тогда поверили они словам Его, [и] воспели хвалу Ему.

13 Но скоро забыли дела Его, не ждали изволения Его.

14 Увлеклись прихотью в пустыне, стали искушать Бога в необитаемой.

15 Он исполнил прошение их, но послал язву на душу их.

16 Позавидовали в стане Моисею и Аарону, освященному от Господа.

17 Разверзлась земля и поглотила Дафана, и покрыла скопище Авирама.

18 И сожег огонь скопище их, пламень попалил нечестивых.

19 Сделали тельца у Хорива, и поклонялись истукану.

20 Променяли Славу свою на изображение вола, ядущего траву.

21 Забыли Бога, Спасителя своего, соделавшего великие дела в Египте,

22 Дивные в земле Хамовой, страшные у чермного моря.

23 И хотел истребить их, если бы Моисей, избранный Его, не стал пред Ним как бы в проломе стены, дабы отвратить ярость Его от истребления [их].

24 Потом они презрели землю вожделенную, не верили слову Его.

25 Возмутились в шатрах своих, не внимали гласу Господню.

26 И поднял Он руку Свою на них, чтобы низложить их в пустыне,

27 Низложить племя их в народах, и рассеять их по землям.

28 И прилепились к Ваалфегору, и ели принесенное в жертву бездушным,

29 И раздражали Бога делами своими, и устремилась на них язва.

30 И восстал Финеес, и умилостивил, и остановилась язва.

31 И сие вменено ему в праведность в роды и роды до века.

32 И прогневали Бога у вод Меривы, и Моисей пострадал за них;

33 Ибо они огорчили дух его, и он погрешил устами своими.

34 Не истребили народов, о которых говорил им Господь;

35 Но смешались с язычниками, и научились делам их.

36 Стали служить истуканам их, и они сделались для них сетью.

37 Сынов своих и дочерей своих приносили в жертву бесам.

38 Проливали невинную кровь, кровь сынов своих и дочерей своих, которых они приносили в жертву идолам Ханаанским: и осквернена земля убийствами.

39 Осквернили себя делами своими, блудодеяние обнаруживали поступками своими.

40 И воспылал гнев Господень на народ Его, и возгнушался Он уделом Своим.

41 И предал их в руки язычников, и ненавидящие их стали господствовать над ними.

42 Утесняли их враги их, и они покорены были под власть их.

43 Много раз он избавлял их, но они раздражали [Его] предприятиями своими, и изнурены были за беззаконие свое.

44 Но Он призрел на скорбь их, вняв воплю их,

45 И вспомнил завет Свой с ними, и раскаялся по великой милости Своей;

1 O GIVE thanks to the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.	1 Аллилуйя. Славьте Господа, ибо Он благ; ибо милость Его вечна.
2 Sing to him, sing psalms to him, talk of all his wondrous works.	2 Кто изъяснит могущество Господа? Кто изобразит всю славу Его?
3 Glory in his holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.	3 Блаженны хранящие истину и поступающие по правде во всякое время!
4 Seek the LORD, and be strong, seek his face evermore.	4 Вспомни о мне, Господи, по Своему благоволению к народу Твоему; посети меня спасением Твоим,
5 Remember his marvellous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,	5 Дабы мне видеть благоденствие избранных Твоих, возвеселиться среди веселия народа Твоего, хвалиться вместе с наследием Твоим.
6 O you descendants of Abraham his servant, you children of Jacob his chosen.	6 Согрешили мы с отцами нашими, сделались виновными, преступниками.
7 He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.	7 Отцы наши в Египте не уразумели чудес Твоих, не помнили великих Твоих милостей, и роптали у моря, у чермного моря.
8 He has remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.	8 Но Он спас их ради имени Своего, дабы показать могущество Свое.
9 For he made his covenant with Abraham, and his oaths to Isaac;	9 Грозно рек морю чермному, и оно иссохло; и провел их бездною, как пустынею;

11 Saying, To you will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance,	11 Воды покрыли врагов их, ни одного из них не осталось.
12 When they were but a few men in number, yea, very few, and strangers in it.	12 Тогда поверили они словам Его, [и] воспели хвалу Ему.
13 When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;	13 Но скоро забыли дела Его, не ждали изволения Его.
14 He suffered no man to do them wrong; yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,	14 Увлеклись прихотью в пустыне, стали искушать Бога в необитаемой.
15 That they might touch not his anointed, and do his prophets no harm.	15 Он исполнил прошение их, но послал язву на душу их.
16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land; he broke the whole stalk of their wheat.	16 Позавидовали в стане Моисею и Аарону, освященному от Господа.
17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant,	17 Разверзлась земля и поглотила Дафана, и покрыла скопище Авирама.
18 Whose feet they bound with fetters; he was laid in iron	18 И сожег огонь скопище их, пламень попалил нечестивых.
19 Until the time that his word came; the word of the LORD tried him.	19 Сделали тельца у Хорива, и поклонялись истукану.
20 The king sent and released him, and made him a ruler over his people.	20 Променяли Славу свою на изображение вола, ядущего траву.
21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler over all his possessions,	21 Забыли Бога, Спасителя своего, соделавшего великие дела в Египте,
22 To discipline the governors at his pleasure and to teach the elders wisdom.	22 Дивные в земле Хамовой, страшные у чермного моря.
23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.	23 И хотел истребить их, если бы Моисей, избранный Его, не стал пред Ним как бы в проломе стены, дабы отвратить ярость Его от истребления [их].

29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.	29 И раздражали Бога делами своими, и устремилась на них язва.
30 Their land swarmed with frogs, even in the inner chambers of their kings.	30 И восстал Финеес, и умилостивил, и остановилась язва.

35 And they devoured all the herbs and the fruit of their lands.	35 Но смешались с язычниками, и научились делам их.
36 He smote also all the first-born of Egypt, the first-born of all their boys.	36 Стали служить истуканам их, и они сделались для них сетью.
37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold; and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.	37 Сынов своих и дочерей своих приносили в жертву бесам.
38 Egypt was glad when they departed; for the fear of them fell upon them.	38 Проливали невинную кровь, кровь сынов своих и дочерей своих, которых они приносили в жертву идолам Ханаанским: и осквернена земля убийствами.
39 He spread a cloud to shade them, and fire to give light in the night.	39 Осквернили себя делами своими, блудодеяние обнаруживали поступками своими.
40 The people asked, and he brought quails and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.	40 И воспылал гнев Господень на народ Его, и возгнушался Он уделом Своим.
41 He opened the rock and the waters gushed out; and water flowed in the dry land.	41 И предал их в руки язычников, и ненавидящие их стали господствовать над ними.
42 For he remembered his holy promise which he had given to Abraham his servant.	42 Утесняли их враги их, и они покорены были под власть их.
43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his young men with gladness,	43 Много раз он избавлял их, но они раздражали [Его] предприятиями своими, и изнурены были за беззаконие свое.
44 And gave them the lands of the Gentiles; and they inherited the labor of the people.	44 Но Он призрел на скорбь их, вняв воплю их,
45 That they might observe his statutes and keep his laws. Praise the LORD.	45 И вспомнил завет Свой с ними, и раскаялся по великой милости Своей;
