Psalm 16

1 PRESERVE me, O God; for in thee do I put my trust.

2 I have said unto the LORD, Thou art my LORD, and my goodness cometh from thee;

3 I said it also to the saints that are on the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.

4 The sorrows of the wicked shall be multiplied in rapid succession that I may not pour out their libations of blood; nor will I mention their names with my lips.

5 The LORD is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup; thou shalt restore my inheritance.

6 My portion of the land fell to me in goodly places; yea, I have been pleased with my heritage.

7 I will bless the LORD, for he has given me counsel; my intuition also guides me during the night.

8 I have set the LORD always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

9 Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices; my flesh also shall rest in hope.

10 For thou hast left not my soul in Sheol; neither hast thou suffered thy Holy One to see corruption.

11 Thou wilt show me the path of life, and I shall be filled with the joy of thy countenance, with the pleasure of victory of thy right hand.

1 Молитва Давидова. Услыши, Господи, правду [мою], внемли гласу моему, приими во уши молитву мою не из лживых уст.

2 От лица Твоего да изыдет суд мой, очи Твои да воззрят на правоту.

3 Испытай сердце мое, посети ночью, переплавь меня; ничего не найдешь: от мыслей моих не отступают уста мои.

4 В делах человеческих, по слову уст Твоих, я наблюдаю за путями притеснителя.

5 Утверди стопы мои на стезях Твоих, да не уклоняются шаги мои.

6 Я призываю Тебя; ибо Ты услышишь меня, Боже; приклони ко мне ухо Твое, внемли словам моим.

7 Яви дивную милость Твою, Спаситель уповающих [на Тебя] от восстающих противу десницы Твоей!

8 Храни меня, как зеницу ока; в тени крыл Твоих укрой меня.

9 От нечестивых, которые нападают на меня, от врагов души [моей], которые окружают меня.

10 Они затворили сердце свое; устами своими говорят гордо.

11 На всяком шагу нашем ныне окружают нас; глаза свои устремили, чтобы повергнуть меня на землю.
