Psalm 101

1 I WILL sing of mercy and judgment; unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.

2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes; I hate the doers of evil, they shall not come near to me.

4 A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know not evil.

5 He who accuses his neighbor falsely will I destroy; with him who has a high look and a proud heart I will not eat.

6 Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks in a perfect way shall serve me.

7 He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house; he who tells lies shall not tarry in my sight.

8 In the early morning I will silence all the wicked of the earth; and I will destroy all the doers of iniquity from the city of the LORD.

1 Молитва страждущего, когда он унывает, и пред лицем Господним изливает печаль свою.

2 Господи! услыши молитву мою, и вопль мой да придет пред Тебя.

3 Не сокрой лица Твоего от меня; в день бедствия моего приклони ко мне ухо Твое, в день, [когда] призываю [Тебя,] поспеши, услыши меня.

4 Ибо как дым, исчезли дни мои, и кости мои обожжены, как горнило.

5 Подсечено, как трава, и иссохло сердце мое; так что я забыл есть хлеб мой.

6 От стенания моего кость моя прильпнула к плоти моей.

7 Я подобен неясыти в пустыне; я как филин на развалинах.

8 Не сплю, и сижу, как одинокая птица на кровле.
